Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa, was he cured of HIV or was he cured of AIDS? There is a distinct difference. HIV is the actual contagion that infects you, AIDS is the autoimmune disease caused by the infection. This is really not a very informative article.

The key point was that the virus was detected very early. And he took very strong medication. With early detection & drug treatment, a patient has 90% chance of holding down HIV virus.
