There is a big difference between trying to fathom what being an aggie is like, and actually being an aggie, and only aggies will know this. by the way I also havent met one hater of Tamu who got into UT or TAMU

the A&M campus was opened first but under the Texas Constitution it was supposed to be a branch of the University of Texas system the flagship school of which was to be built in Austin (UT @ Austin) however the plan didnt work and they became two seperate systems however UT was the first PUBLIC University in Texas
and our Fight Song mentions A&M once "And It's Goodbye To A&M" thats it the Aggie Fight Song is one giant insult to Texas

@bryant5266 just pointing this out, you do realize that TAMU, just like UT, is a COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY. It is a place to LEARN. Yes sports are a small part of every college, and football a small part of the sports. A schools football team does not define the school as a whole. In fact, most people who have been to college will agree that no body cares if you played football in college. Employers, and national education agiencies look at the ACADEMICS of a college, not the atheletics.

why the hell do Aggies consider A&M to be one of the best schools in engineering? it really isn't. UT is ranked #6 in engineering-computer-science-physics, the whole nine yards. Also, why are so many Aggies ignorant hicks? All the snobs from my high school go that school. I thought about going to this school awhile back, but phsst...forget it. People give them moe credit than they deserve. Their sister schools are much better IMO
