@lass8477 The base is a Turbo S, i switched the rim and cover from a GT3RS V1.

if you took off the gt2 rim could you just stick any real steering wheel on there and then hard wire the buttons to a button box or something or a hand brake and shifters so you could use a sparco rim on a fanatec instead of the damn porsche rim as i am an avid drifter and the porsche rim is a pain

How does the h shifter respond to going from 4th to 2nd? Does the car in game go straight to second or does the game treat that as two downshifts?

hey dude i got a question, why is there so little force on your wheel. I want to drift but the wheel is pretty hard to turn like a real car lol is there a certain setting to change to make the wheel looser? I have a gt2 btw

roy, what's the purpose of swapping the inside again , is the turbo s motor better than the gt3 rs? love your side pod for button box and frex sequential

It's actually about swapping the outside. The innerworkings of both wheels are the same, but this way i had a GT3RS look wheel for the Xbox 360 and firmware upgradable, long before the GT2 wheel was announced and the GT3RS had the upgrade to V2 :)

@SSares Ah thanks Mate, one last question , in know you don't use the fanatec shifter anymore now. but when you did, can you connect the sequential and the H shifter in the same time to the GT3RS? i mean for GT5 (1act as the handbrake)

@HwangmPSN No unfortunatly, since up and down on the sequential are the same buttons as Gear 1 and 2 on the shifter :)

There is a clubsport Handbrake, so why not using it in addition to the actual shifter, which isnt made to be modified into a handbrake? :D

@CyberCarExposed No, the shifters wont work with mis-matched wheels (thats what the guys said who reviewed it) so basically a g27 shifter wont even work with a g25 wheel..

Hi! nice driving! I bought this wheel for chrismas.. but i finally find that the H shifter waesnt shifting correctly. So i calibrate it. But still doesnt shift the right gears! What should i do! I dont have any firmware what so ever , if i reall need firmwares to make the H shifter work.. ill TRY but im really not sure how to install a firmware into the wheel.

Hi, This is hardwired by soldering 2 wires to the B button on the pcb in the steeringwheel :)

@ji3200 Honest opinion is that i like the Fanatec wheel more, but you really can't go wrong with the G25 or G27 wheel. I have driven with my G25 for over 4 years (intensivly) and it never failed on me and it really has been a great companion.

@SSares thanks. by the way, if you are pc racing gamer i highly recomment 3d vision which gives you field of depth so you tell the braking marks on the corner and also gives you sense of speed for sure!!! i love it !!!!!!

yeah but ive heard people say the G27 was made poorly as it broke on several people rather quickly, G25 may be a different story tho

The G25 is as unreliable as the G27, I only had a G25 for around a year before the motor's burned themselves out.

@C0NNORx024x On my button layout i have B as a handbrake, and since in GT5 that is the handbrake button aswell, i prefered to use that :)

@ShadowlightSE if you own the GT3RS wheel and the Turbo S wheel some people swap just the wheel rim of the GT3RS which has alcantara material (more grippy especially with racing gloves) to the Turbo S. The Turbo S wheel has compatibility with Forza 3 (shown in this video) and much newer electronics which allow better tuning of the wheel. Basically the Porsche Turbo S wheel is the one to buy.
