  • reminds me of weather report

  • I am going to buy this CD tomorrow. Thanx for posting.

  • I can hear the bacon cooking in the background!!!!!! Good ole' vinyl! Good stuff!

  • one of my favrit bass players composer stans the man

  • Damn, I love the sound of the static crackling in the background, sounds so good to me.

  • i reemember this album i had it great

  • Great job ripping from vinyl...I have a copy that has only been played twice, I am gonna rip it to CD soon as I can find a new stylus.

Stanley is da MAN...the modern man himself!

  • One of the BEST fusion cuts EVER--it ROCKS!!

  • i get some awesome visuals in my head from the opening first minute. its like space funk fused with speed rock....so badass

  • how funky can you get!

  • I love this record...))) Great Tony....))))

  • I love to listen to the master's at work!

  • thank you for posting this classic;this whole album is classic as far as I'm concerned!!!

  • *******

  • light one for this song...wow and im only 23, and i found this music amazing.

  • For me, this the best Stanley has ever recorded, I have to original Vinyl, too....priceless.

  • This recording was the first time I heard Tony Williams play fusion...Jan Hammer , Bill Connors....Awesome talent on this album

  • @freein2339 I lol'd when i saw the thank you to "the greatest man on the planet- L. Ron Hubbard" haha this guy was way out there but this album is just.... tony williams is an animal on the drums, bill connnors absolutely shreds throughout, and of course Mr. Clarke tying it all together with the funky dopeness. ..this is just a great album packed with big name talent.

  • @DrMadvillain I just care about his music

  • @DrMadvillain Fortunately he left Scientology in the late 70's

  • @freein2339 Yeah, there were a couple great jazz drummers (Elvin Jones comes to mind) who could not master a good back-beat. Tony was one of the best. Thanks for the post.

  • @triplettam Elvin Jones comes to my mind too. I'm a drummer and I loved him no end. But his excursions into back beat territory (especially with Santana) just didn't . . .you know what I mean. I will not speak bad of one the greatest drummers of all time, but all styles require training. Tony had it all.

  • From a writing, composition and all star band perspective I think your right. I've often said the same thing. School Days from a different perspective would be the other.

  • I stil think this one great album, from a great era.

  • I hear ya.....

  • First listened to this over 30 years ago--it still sounds awesome!!

  • desert island music. fusion did not get much better than this. I always like Stanley's solo albums far better than RTF. Just me.

  • Pure Clarke!

  • It has nothing to do with YouTube: its the jackass bastard lawyers at the record companies that make it so difficult: they have screwed so many people, from musicians to writers and now all they want to do is protect what they think is their bloody property. Music that was most likely stolen in by them in the first place!

  • So lets beat up the lawyers...

  • earthshattering!

  • LOVE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Damn! That's Wack!!!!!! This ain't Youtube A Couple Of Years Ago. Now They Police Everything. You Can See Anything From Murder To Damn Near Teen Porn, But You Can't Put A Classic Album or Any Rare Things On No More. I Think Thats Bass Ackwards.

  • Tell me about it...

  • Fuck the censorship at Youtube.

  • You Should Post The First Album!!!! Similar To The Return to forever project. Alot of this Album Was Joints He Wrote With Chick Corea.

  • I trues to post it but YouTube took it off...

  • Atlast, got the CD, i love this song, was suprised to find it here!

  • I also have Stanley Clark's very first album...Do you think I should post any of the tunes...????

  • Go for it :)

  • Just when I gave up on finding this!

  • wow such a classic song, this is a true sign of true music!! Long live funkmaster!

  • Glad you like the music...

  • I heard that.....

  • And Musicians were Musicians..

  • superb album. my favourite next to 'journey to love' got them both on vinyl so nice to hear this post. a must have !

  • Yes sir....This was when music was music...

  • Stanley's best album in my opinion. Saw him twice in the 80s, he'd hit some notes that would just penetrate.

  • I agree....

  • awesome!

  • Hey , I'm glad you like it...

  • The change up in this song is amazing!

  • This is my favorite Stanley Clark tune..Thanks for posting...
