Jesus never prayed those words, and Jesus never had a set time when He HAD to pray or God the Father would not listen to Him. Jesus prayers were personal one on one, nothing like how Muslim's pray which is a constant ritual.

@Jerseygirl8999 Thanks for the essay. So according to part 1 of your message, 1+1+1=1 you go on to say God the Father, God the Son & God the holy Ghost are all 1. I don't know about you, but i passed maths in school. 1+1+1=3 not 1. The only way you can believe that 1+1+1=1 is with faith not with logic. Jesus was never considered a God nor the son of God until 325 years after his death at the council of nicea where he was VOTED to be so by MEN! You are following the teachings of MEN not God

@TheExtermination PART 1)1X 1X1X= 1 That is the Christian Trinity, Jesus was always God, He was not made into a God at the Counsel of Nicea by the Roman Flavaius Constintine. The Gospels were already written, BEFORE the Counsel of Nicea so how could the Constintine create the Trinity? The Council of Nicea affirmed the Apostles' teaching of who Christ is—the One true God in Deity and Trinity with the Father and the Holy Spirit.

@TheExtermination Part 2) At the Council of Nicea,the Roman Flaviaus Constantine commanded them to create a “creed” doctrine that all of Christianity would follow & obey, a doctrine that would be called the “Nicene Creed,” upheld by the Church & enforced by the Emperor. The bishops voted to make the full deity of Christ the accepted position for the church. The Council of Nicea voted to make the Trinity the official doctrine of the church.

@TheExtermination PART 3) However, the Council of Nicea did not invent these doctrines. Rather, it only recognized what the Bible taught,& systematized the doctrines. Like I said, it does not make sense to say at the Counsel of Nicea, Christ was "TURNED" into a GOD and the TRINITY was created! When there were already both Jewish and Gentiles worshiping Christ as their Savior! And the Gospels were already complied and put together by the Church Fathers using the Canon. CoN came much later!

Its no secret there are MANY self professing Christians who are Christians only by name but they do not do the will of God. These people HYPOCRITES are who Jesus is talking to! @Jerseygirl8999 According to Christendom, Jesus had a contract with God to come here and die for ours sins yet in that very garden of Gethsemane where he fell on his face in prostration, he prayed that the cup (death on the cross) would be turned away from him meaning he didn't want to die for your sins and further proof is when Jesus found that his prayers were not being answered he cried out "My God, my God! Why hast Thou forsaken me" ? ( Matthew 27: 46). Does this sound like a contract 2 U?

@TheExtermination PART 4) the Bible teaches that before the foundations of the world, God the Father and God the Son(Jesus) had a plan to redeem the world through a blood sacrfice. If you read the Old Testament (TORAH) you will find that the Jews when wanted to be forgiven of there sins, would have to offer a sacrfice to God..Usually a SPOTLESS lamb. God can not just forgive sin. The Bible says the wages of sin is DEATH! Jesus became that sacrifice on the cross He became the LAMB of GOD

@TheExtermination PART 5)When Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane, He was under grief and pain. Jesus Christ was SINLESS and perfect, but He had the worlds sins on His shoulders. He cried out to the Father, to "let the cup pass from me" but notice, the Father does not respond back to Jesus. If there was any other way, for God to forgive us of our sins, Christ would not have to die! When Christ was on the Cross, not only did He bare our SINS He also faced the Fathers wrath.

All of Gods wrath and hate for SIN that WE SINNERS should face OURSLEVES, was upon Jesus Christ. When Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? He cried out for TWO reasons, one this was a prophecy that Jesus Christ fulfilled. In Pslams 22:1 written by the Pslamist David.

Also In those awful moments, Jesus was expressing His feelings of abandonment as God placed the sins of the world on Him – and because of that had to “turn away” from Jesus. As Jesus was feeling that weight of sin, He was experiencing separation from God for the only time in all of eternity. It was at this time that 2 Corinthians 5:21 occurred! I suggest you read it

@Jerseygirl8999 Jesus himself never taught this. He insisted that the way to salvation was through keeping "the law and the prophets." Which Law? Obviously, the Mosaic Law. Which prophets ? Clearly the Prophets who had succeeded Moses in Israel. He reiterated that he had not come to destroy the Law but to fulfill it. "Till heaven and earth pass, not one jot or title shall in no wise pass from the law." (Matthew 5: 17, 18). 1st Com of Moses, "Hear ye oh Israel Your Lord, thy God is ONE" 1+0+0=1

Being “good” or practicing good works doesn't guarantee entrance to heaven. However, the Bible tells us that there is NO OTHER WAY to heaven EXCEPT by accepting God’s grace through his Son Jesus Christ.

@TheExtermination P8)The only real Gospels we have of what Jesus Himself thought is found in the Bible. You can choose to reject all of it, but it is your eternal salvation. Jesus Christ Himself said, "Truly Truly, You will die in your sins for unless you believe that I AM HE (The ONE WHO IS) you will die in your sins" You can either choose to allow Christ to pay for your sins or you can pay for your own sins in hell for all eternity. your choice, it is a choice God has given to ALL men!

God said, If you break ONE of His laws then you are guilty of breaking ALL of His LAWS! It is written in the Law, thou shall not steal! Have you ever stolen anything, no matter how small it was? So have you ever hated anyony? Have you ever been angry with anyone? the Law also says "thou shall not covet" have you ever coveted? Have you ever been Jealous, prideful, greedy? If you have broken ONE law your guilty of breaking them all, thus you deserve to go to hell!

So just by your own standards in wanting to KEEP the commandments of GOD, you have broken 4/5 of His laws! If God was to judge you, How do you think you would do? Would you be found guilty or innocent? Remember the God of Israel can not just simply forgive Sins, Sins must be paid for! You see NO ONE can keep the Laws of GOD we have all broken them!

The purpose of the Old Testament law is to convict people of our inability to keep the law and point us to our need for Jesus Christ as Savior (Romans 7:7-9; Galatians 3:24). The Old Testament law was never intended by God to be the universal law for all people for all of time. You wanting to keep the Law will be judged by the Law, and you will fail according to Romans 3:19!

@TheExtermination PT 15)Jesus did not come to this earth for the purpose of acting as an opponent of the law. His goal was not to prevent its fulfillment. Rather, He revered it, loved it, obeyed it, and brought it to fruition. He fulfilled the law’s prophetic utterances regarding Himself (Luke 24:44).

@TheExtermination PT 16) Christ fulfilled the demands of the Mosaic law, which called for perfect obedience under threat of a “curse” (Galatians 3:10, 13). In this sense, the law’s divine design will ever have an abiding effect. It will always accomplish the purpose for which it was given.
