@kastnmagic Thanks! Those tree guards are a favorite. They can be purchased from grow organic dot com. Search "tree guard" and it should be the first hit.
Is using the fungiside considered non-organic? Having to wear a gas mask makes me think... I probably don't want this on my tree either. Can't we simply put a more natural mixture for warding off fungus. As far as oiling... I have heard that olive oil is a natural to spray on the tree to ward off bugs. If anyone has a natural remedy for warding off fungus on fruit trees... please comment. Thank you.
@carolLDickinson Thank you for your concern and desire to use natural tree care. As far as the protective equipment, just because a product is naturally derived does not mean it isn't an irritant to people. For example Hot Pepper Wax is a great natural solution to certain insect problems but that natural capsaicin (what makes peppers hot) is a skin and eye irritant. If you are interested in natural fungicides check out those that are OMRI listed.
Great videos! Where did you purchase your snap on tree guards? Those are nice and we'd like to purchase the same for our new orchard trees. :)

Thank you, Patricia. But, uh, that was easy. My peach tree keeps getting bigger. Next year please show us how to spray a full-grown peach tree.
Thanks,
