plzz help. i cant find the way to add effects to my mic while i am recording, i can only add the effects after i am finish recording for editing. thanks.

@Jlex999 You can add effects on the audio input channel, that way you'll hear them while you're recording. I recommend only using send effects, though, because it's possible that insert effects will be recorded along with the audio (meaning you won't be able to edit them after).

@Jlex999 yes u can add effect while u record it just click on the monitor sign an ex u look at track 1 and there u see a monitor sign into a round shape but is very smallbut u still can c it! if u didn't understand send me ur email i can help u:D

from 1:30 to 1:35, you resized the bass event to align with the others. By doing that, that's muting out the sounds or automatically "cutting out the audio"?

@flbutterflyemmy Yes, in the file menu, click on Import -> Audio File. I believe you can also drag 'n drop mp3 files directly into the arrangement window.

Drum loops from FL Studio u mean? if so... you just click file in FL studio... after u set it all up.. highlight each thing like kick... then file.. extract to wave.. then open track on cubase.. mono... import your wave file and then use snap and copy and paste and its very simple..

Hey, if your still looking  you just move the markers to what you want to export. Then click file and go to export. There you give it a name you export it as and what kinda output you want (stereo I would think)

How do you add a plugin effect to an audio event without having to add it to the whole track?

I used to right click on cubase sx and just select plug ins- and select the effect. But in cubase studio 4 i cannot see the "plugins" menul

the clicks and pops you are referring to occur when you don't cut the loop at it's zero crossing. there is a function in the wave editor that snaps to zero crossing. You can also use cross fading.

How can I select exact of 8 bits for example? In Adobe Audition I enter 8 digit in timline and it selects 8 bits from starting cursor. How do I do that here?

C'mon dude tell people that they can undo by using the key command Ctrl-Z

AAARRRG to copy that guitar all you have to do is select the part and hit Ctrl-D to duplicate the part MAN! You are making me WANNA do my own CUBASE 4 tutorials... I actually wanna say %^#%$*&* but I must control my emotions and lead by example.

These tutorials were actually produced by steinberg. The main intent of these videos are to show extremely thorough yet basic techniques with Cubase. Although your points are valid these techniques are not necessarily for efficiency but to familiarize people with Cubase. Oh and we all agree that Cubase Rocks. There is no doubting that!!!
