  • Ok, after paying $125 to a paintless dent removal shop to take out a nice door ding, I tried my own spin on this thing. I used a Coleman blow up air bed from Walmart. I figured I would splurge and buy a thick one as I did not want to do any damage.

    $44 Airbed (incl. pump)

    $3 Rope

    $5 Gorilla Glue

    $3 Duct tape

    $55 total

  • The first time for practice I slowly opened the door against the hanging air bed. It separated from the rope and fell on the floor. I then got ticked off and used a ton of Gorilla glue. After I swore the rope was secure, I slammed the door of my car into my wife's car and whala, one rope separated from the airbed...the side that had the edge of the door. Nonetheless I gave my wife a huge dent in her VW bug! What a great Christmas present!

  • Lesson of the day. This thing looks like it's engineered by a professional not by me a complete botched hack job. After all my time, trips to the store and wasted money, I would have been better of buying one from this guy.Whatever he used is a hell of a lot stronger than my air bed.

He's an idiot for swinging at his NSX, but it obviously works.

  • Thanks for the kind words.

  • Dude, that guy is wailing on his car! I've got a feeling my wife isn't hitting my car door with her car door nearly that hard. Ya just sold one buddy!
