Land of the free my arse!! Quit paying taxes and see how much they leave you with. I got behind just in my town taxes(small 1 mile square town called ATKINSON, NC) and they got a lawyer and tried to take my house that was paid for over 30 years ago. My dad grew up in this house. The taxes totaled $2,100. They were going to kick me out of my family home built over 50 years ago for that much. WTF!!?? The lawyer charge an additional $611 for his services. CORBETT law firm in Burgaw, NC. Free? LOL
