  • He should not have made a fishing tip vid :{

  • those are walleye not picks

  • sounds like im listing to Shakespeare

  • yeah thats a walleye not a pickeral

  • its called live bait, not real bait -_-

  • thats not a pickeral u dumb shit

  • @14fishboy Technically no your right. But up in Canada some people call them Pickeral. I call them Walleye.

  • you are full of shit or you have no clue what your talking bout..i catch walleye at 20 feet and deeper! fishing at oahe its prolly 30 to 40 feet in places and the stupid live bait shit! thats the fucking lazy way of catching fish.. fish like a man and pull some plugs

  • pickeral are not walleyes and saugers are not either of them i can catch them all in deep and 1 foot of water on shore you just have to know what they are doing sometimes

  • @runingblackbear Best luck I've had fishing walleye off shore was with the wind blowing hard in my face (Thunderstorm moving in). Used a blue and silver rattle 'n' rap. 5 casts 3 walleye (all in the 3 to 4 lbs range) Thought I was going to have to cut the line on the last one.... that storm was getting far too close for comfort. graphite rod, on a dock... lightening.... bad idea...lol.. was a blast though :D

  • I fish the St. Lawrence River in Northern New York. I fish the major Walleye tournaments that are put on by the S.T.L.R. Walleye Association and I catch Walleye in 60-65 ft of water consistantly. The water is so clear in the St. Lawrence that you can't get near them if they are in 10ft as they will spook.

  • i agree with ntomoo where i fish(wisconsin) at 20ft is the only place where you can catch them at 20 ft ppl where cathcing them by the dozens

  • y do u keep saying pickeral even though its walleye

  • I went to Tilly's lake (upper) in Sault Ste Marie Ontario and in about 12ft of water we were catching 5 pound pickerel..

W were all set up with a split shot and bell sinker about 12" from the hook and a full worm and we had a flat bottom boat so we just dropped it straight down to the bottom and brang it up about 5" from the bottom ..

  • @burtonkidd Interesting reply, sounds like u had fun, a 5 pound fish is never a disappointment. You should make a video about your adventure, many utube people would watch it. Joe : )

  • @jmorello123

I have pictures of the fish ill make a video soon.

  • at my camp the walleye are in 18 to 23 feet theres bass in 3 to 15...

  • uhh... i dnt think pickrel and walleye r the same thing and look at the title of the video

  • stupid... walleyes bit plenty fine at 20 feet....

  • @ntomoo337 yes i agree, it depends where you're fishing at.

    '

  • @b18alldaway Thanks, it does depend on where u are fishing, every lake is different and one has to find it's secrets.

  • i have the same trolling motor but the pedal doesnt work

  • @smoothcriminal997 yes, u are correct, i was just referring to walley, walleye prefer live bait over artifical, i have test both with walleye and the differance is overwhelming in favor of live bait. : )

  • just got home from beaver run water reserve spent the night out there and slammed giant catfish all night lol just thought i would tell ya HAHA lol i love fishing forever eternity.

  • @11stealthninjas sounds like u had fun, fishing is awesome, i agree, : )

  • ive been catching the walleye on dead choped up fish on a steel leader with a bobber lol...but like you said 9 to 10 feet of water...and close to shore...i also use your rig setup every day and it is proven to be the best time and time again for pike and large mouth.....although im getting sick of catching turtles... : (

  • @11stealthninjas Thanks for reply and leaving excellent ideas, : )

  • due worm? maybe a dew worm ??

  • due = dew

  • Thanks so much for sharing this clear demonstration & information. I can't wait to try it (in about a month).

  • @tagurite it always workded for me, so, it should work for u too, the method is for slow trolling. Best of luck, : )

  • nice pickeral video

  • its a walleye u freckin northern!@!!

  • Yes, u are correct, it is how to catch walleye. : ) Thanks for watching!

  • @ragetank hahaha you are correct!

  • @GeneralMaximus3 Yes, thanks for watching my video, and it is dew worm, : )

  • they dont look the same i will outfish you any day

  • Yea, dude. That's a Walleye.

  • Hello everyone, yes, walleye and pickerel are almost identical. I understand them as cousin fish, but they are two different species of fish that look the same. : )

  • a pickeral and a walleye are NOTHING alike. A pickeral is closer to a norther pike and a walleye is in the perch family.

  • Hello Punt66:

Yes, u are right, i just gooled a walley and pickerel picture and the fish i call pickerel is a walleye. I have been corrected, thanks, : )

  • Yea, man, they look NOTHING alike. It's funny how there are fish species books and sites out there, but EVERYONE who posts videos on YouTube seems to think they're the same. I'm not busting on you, but damn, how can there be this much confusion over fish that look nothing alike? Crazy.

  • Yes, u are right also, i have been corrected, thanks. I have been thinking pickerel where walleye for many years. : )

  • Damn, that sucks. I mean, I know names and species alter from place to place, but there should really just be a key or something that shows actual pictures (not drawings) of EVERY fish with their names and identifications. I know they have them per state, but it'd be nice to see them all.

  • Helle UriahRR:

Thanks for ur reply, i hope u will check out some of my other videos too. U may find more mistakes which u can correct me on : )

  • Comment removed

  • thats a walleye you dipshit

  • your a dumbass that's a walleye

  • Pickerel is Canadian eh, Walleye is American, same fish different name.

  • no they aren't they are different fish

  • That's more/less what i was saying....peace.

  • I use this method in about 10 feet of water, usually very close to shore. Pickerel are coming up to feed on bait fish, so, this is where one should fish for them. : )

  • spinner baits also work

  • Yes, spinner baits also works! But do try this method, it works great too. : )

  • will it catch in deep water or shallow or both?

  • Thanks : )

    Best of Luck!

  • TY man i gotta do a fishing tournament today! PICKEREL RULE!
