I think that the wheels coming off the ground just means good traction, and also a good differential lock cause even when the other front tire is in the air, it still keeps on going and it doesn't take all the torque to the wheel that doesn't touch the ground

Lowering a car does not help with a cars handling as most think. Finding a neutral balance in the car.. so it does not hop on slight bumps and heights in the road. A car that is stiff and slammed would bounce all over on most tracks, therefore slowing the car down. Finding that neutral setup is key. The entire car and setup decides how a car will handle.. There will never be a car that will be the best handling car on all different tracks and surfaces.

Hatches sell in the over populated European market because of their lower emissions, weight, and smaller size which gives you tax breaks. Think about it, what else could you buy for $50k in the US? You can get a used NSX for that, a new GT500, Viper. etc etc. As much as I LOVE this Civic, it's the sad truth.

Honda couldn't keep up their sales for the Acura RSX (mostly because it was overpriced and lacked a 4-door model like the previous Integras). No one in the U.S. would spend the money for an overpowered FWD car when with the same amount of money, could get something RWD that isn't at the end of its wits.

The handling is fine, the reason the wheels are coming off of the ground is because it's being driven. And those curbs are not helping either. So...shut up people who say it needs to be lowered. I used to drive this civic with the 2.2 diesel engine. It`s a crap....... awful car....... awful suspension.... it`s very small and uncomfortable inside. Type R is fast but it isn`t enough to be a good car
