I'm also used to Daryl's version in my head. But this woman did do justice to this song. I enjoyed her version and am glad that they brought it back to the tour. Daryl would have been proud of her. Daryl past on right before the 2005 tour. Whoever said they saw him perform it right before he died got their facts wrong. Unless they phrased their statement wrong.

Our first TSO show we saw Daryl perform this. One month later he was gone. Glad to see this song back. Saw them in Raleigh last night and Erika did Daryl right! I know he was smiling down from heaven when he heard this!

that is ridiculous to say "out of respect for" ...not to sing it.. there are thousands of artists who are no longer with us and of course they would want their legacy and music to live on though other artists. She is amazing and I searched and searched for this and SO glad I found it! And I dont care if it is not incorporated into the story... I have seen previous years' shows and this is much better ! :)

Thank you SO much for posting this. I saw them 11/ 14 / 10 and it caught me completely off guard , cause i never expected to here it live again. I know the song didn't fit the Story line of the show , but it doesn't matter. It's  such a great song and she did such a wonderful job. Daryl would be proud. and it's great to see it back in the live show again . We miss you Daryl !!! (R.I.P)

I don't think anyone is denying the fact that this young lady is a wonderful singer. Afterall, TSO doesn't hire poor singers. We're just hesitant about them choosing to bring back Music Box Blues. I thought TSO had retired that song out of respect for Daryl. Some bands do that. AC/DC doesn't do "It's A Long Way To The Top" at concerts out of respect for Bon Scott. I think MBB should have stayed out of the setlist. Bring back "Boughs Of Holly" instead.

It was great to his DDP's old song. It was great surprise to hear the song again, and yes Erika did an awesome job. I agree with MrSnookies, DDP would had been very proud.
