My wife and I were there this night and was not to be missed. We must have been standing right next to this photographer as we were watching along the fence between Norway and China. It was a great show and worth getting soaked from the rain. It stopped right before Illuminations.

@robbysnops1 - actually, it looks like it was filmed between Norway and China. AT 3:25 you can see the Eiffel tower in the distance.

I have seen the Illumintation many times and have filmes them also in hd to try to show how amazing it but this 25th anniversary eddition is amazing thanks for sharing and happy 2010 .

I worked in the Norway pavilion and did crowd control almost every night for a year, and seeing the show made me happy every time. Fireworks have never been the same after working there. I loved the collective "whooooo" when the voiceover "blew out" the lights around the lagoon.

It's from Tapestry of Nations, a parade that performed for a couple of years during the millenium celebration. You can find it on amazon.

This has always been my favorite thing about Epcot since I was a little kid. It's true, the video doesn't do it justice. It's such a shame that they're changing the show to a laser show. lasers may be nice, just not as good as fireworks.

i saw illuminations in 1989. the vid doesn't do it justice. The pyro-sync was fabulous and the booming music was sensational & stirring. unforgetable.

Simply Incredible... Disney knows how to put on a good fireworks show, huh?

It's kinda funny actually - I read somewhere that the pyrotechnics crew that puts on illuminations show at Epcot every night bring out a special set of fireworks barges for special occasions such as this or July 4th, for example. The nickname they have for these barges is the "Armageddon Barges." lol

I think the reasoning for the name is obvious..

@X6insane6X - You are correct. The pyro crew brings out more barges during special occasions. The do the extra barges during the Winter Holiday show. It's great as well.

Every time I go to WDW I have to see this show at least twice. I have yet to see something that can even compare to it. The music is so incredible I could listen to it all day long. Wow this brings back some good memories...

I always thought it would be cool to have someone light the cauldron by setting off a line of fire that would go up to the globe and then break out into the "We Go On" part of the show with the globe opening up and setting off the olympic flame.

Had a coffee in my hand while I tried to watch this but I couldn't drink it because of the lump in my throat! I love Disney fireworks, but to me the EPCOT fireworks are the most moving. Wonderful, wonderful video and thank you so much for sharing!!

LOVE the beginning music. One of my fave memories of EPCOT is going to one of the Asian fast food places at the showcase and sipping mango smoothies watching these AMAZING fireworks. Can't wait to see them again in 2 weeks!

I was a CP in 2002, worked in the German Pavilion. I was fortunate enough to see this show every night, it never ceases to amaze me. Every year I've been to WDW since the program, this show is an absolute staple, I try to see it everynight. Amazing!

I was on the College Program as well in 2005, I worked at the American Adventure so I was able to see this pretty much every night. But the 25th Anni Edition is just wonderful! Yay for Epcot getting a celebration!!!

We were there, it was my Wifes 25th Birthday on the same day, we sat in the Rose and Crown pub (England) and watched. It was amazing, best display we have ever seen, made my wifes day extra special.

I personally like the view from the bridge between England and France. Great view, if you can get to the railing, and its reasonably close to an exit. Good luck, and most importantly, have fun!
