When she and Superman fought in a previous Justice League's episode, none holding back because they thought they were fighting a demon each, Diana gave him a good fight, while she had troubles here at even hitting Mongul.

Truth, but still, the demon/Diana was hurting him, and he obviously fought back at full strength. Of course, that fight wasn't that long because, luckily for them both, Superman realized the demon was really Diana and then could focus on making her realize he wasn't a demon himself, but still, that fight shows they're on the same power level (in comics, they're both considered Alpha Level Metahumans), so she should show it a lot more.
The thing is, Superman's body produces an aura that increases his resistance to damage and also protects his clothing (that why his suit doesn't get damaged more often). Diana, obviously, doesn't have this advantage, yet still, even if vulnerable to sharp weapons, she can take incredibly strong blunt impacts; in one comic, Power Girl sends Diana to Canada on a single punch, and Diana returns to fight almost immediately.

Something I never got from this fight; even if Mongul is Superman's level, Diana should be able to hurt him a lot more.
