Rufus is the son of the President of Shinra in FF7. He takes over the company when his father is killed - by Sephiroth, i believe.

Cloud actually walks away from Rufus's offer and Rufus just uses the Turks to help out here and there as Cloud fights Kadaj. So he isn't purposefully "cooperating" with Rufus, his path just goes in the same direction at the time.

Zack is saved by Cloud when Cloud defeats Sephiroth and he comes very close to dying - only being found by Hojo and becoming "experiments" saves him.

No one blames Cloud for Zack's death except Cloud himself. He feels guilty over it, the same as with Aerith. It's what he is trying to overcome in Advent Children. =)

Well Cloud's half dead because of mako poisoning, Zack's with him, but wants to return to Midgar to see Aerith who kind of broke up with him. but then the army found them, Zack hid Cloud behind the rocks and fought them, but got very badly hurt and died =(

so he kind of died for Cloud, but it was his own choice

Actually, it allows Zack to fulfill his dream of being a hero before he dies - although it is also why he dies. Its why he is smiling at the very end, when he is rising off the ground to go into the lifestream.

That's Zack Fair - he's Cloud's friend and saves Cloud, but dies doing it, just before the start of FF7 game. The game begins right after Zack's death. Zack is the one that Cloud gets his memories confused with for the first half of FF7.

The footage is from Crisis Core - the events in Crisis Core are what happens right before FF7.

so he's in no way related by blood to cloud, tifa or aeris.

he had a mother and a father( who worked for shinra) and died when they were helping people that lived on the plate above sector 7

More fighting should've been involved. I like the first part of it before it hits the chorus, but the second part was good with starting with AC. I would've ended it with Cloud killing Sephiroth. Over all, it was good.

well he has to erase himself he thinks he is the reason zack died ... but he thinks his geostigma is his punishment. but he wants to be forgiven for zacks death cause areith heals cloud in the coming of the children / advent children

Actually, he IS the reason Zack died; Zack was protecting him from Shinra and ensuring he could live free. Zack got to be what he always wanted to be - a hero. That's why he is smiling when he dies. Cloud was still under the influence of the mako poisoning and ends up taking Zacks last words literally - he becomes Zack; in AC he finally realizes what Zack meant.

when cloud was saved by zack, zack told him to live for both of them. Cloud was still suffering from mako poisoning, so he took zack's words literally and assumed Zack's identity. He did not do it on purpose.

No, in Advent Children he is not Zack and no longer thinks he is. He is looking for redemption for letting Zack and Aerith die - mostly for Aerith. He is fighting the dark side, the weak side, of himself. The memory of Aerith and Zack in the life stream help him to achieve this.

The wings are from Jenova - if you watch the scenes with her in it, you can see she has wings. I think it is more a symbol of those that were given her genes as experiments.I can't recall if she has two (I think she does) but the one wing thing may be because they are not completely like her, symbolizing the human part of the mix.
