The question is not "What's killing the newspaper?". The question is: "Why is it a problem?". Things don't die so easily, they just evolve. New are on the net now. There's no need for newspapers anymore. So all those people should change their jobs and adapt. Clinging to outdated customs is a waste of time.

Whew, finally had a positive, view on where to lead things.

People love paper trails for refrence, transform to more of a museam, 100 years of now, who knows.

But while you pace off the days, what would be wrong with being the center for public records, and tallies of run off votes, over all things.

Kind of what the roots of the profession was, eh?

Common base line story on how the times were, with what was placed thru the pages by degree of importance.

Poor sound quality gives me a headache.

Print can't compete with tv in entertainment value. There is still an audience for newspapers, but if you try to be entertaining rather than intelligent you'll loose them aswell.

another no duh about online newspaper vs print

more portable,and uhh we use computers for more than simplistic reading of text

news sites print is just unappealing read, i'd for one change from black on white back

it over loads and tires the nerves faster than say green on black

reason it may work in print is due to needing ambient light to brighten the screens

I once more apoligize for my idiocracy here of a rant, just hard to filter out my emotions on such a important and viable resource

about the printing of black on white back drop, sorry i missed the obvious reason perhaps on why newspapers print black ink

cost saven, less ink, duh, my bad heheh

its not a issue with monitors screens, use it

first monitors was mostly green on black, not because of costs, but the erganamics behind it being easier on eye strain for the most part

bill gates, steve jobs, mostly chose black on white as a buisness gimic for sales, easier to transition and dup people if they feel a similiarity to the normal, perhaps

i have to deal with amature reports, witness accounts directly, sigh, satirists for events

the journalists are out there, i see reports, but no follow ups, or cut short for ads

would'a paid more cash if the media was more meatier, over 3 months free

you've lost the ways of the whole reason one reads newspapers

I dont read them to fish thru a nearly 3 to one ad's vs substance

it'd be like the paper nailed to the churchs door by martin luther, you had to lift up BUY OUR NEW ROSEWOOD SHOES, before you seen his demands

japan has a different model that was implemented it had something to do with market shares % to own them, after ww2 was in place

where did i first see them, a documary done by a few ppl over seas on the whole riot act that stirred up... it wasnt by buying a newspaper, NO ONE PRINTED THEM

how much does wi-fi, satcom data lines cost?

now how much are newspapers loose'n in

research spent on why their loosen money?

of course subscriptions?

so they need to get outa the printing age, cry me a teaspoon,its been great and a long run

turn to renting or giving tablet pc's with say 5 year subscription of data transmission times to the tablet pc
