  • Is it possible to move the particles to a separate layer from the object that's emitting them?

  • How do you have the animation of the fire paused like that? i cant figure it out

  • Thx! it even works in Blender 2.56 ;P

  • MY PICTURES NOT IN THE NODE EDITOR HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!! IVE TRIED TO RE-DO THIS TUTORIAL 3 TIMES BUT IT ALL TURNS OYUT CRAPPIER THAN YOUR FIRST RENDER IN THE FIRST PART!!!!!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @BaNjOtOoIeP What version of Blender are you using? Cuz this tutorial does kinda depend on the version of Blender

  • After I put in the positive and negative values in the x and y in the second displace, my entire image disapears in my viewer. What do I do to fix it?

  • Is there any way to make it loop forever? Like in games? Not that it will start over again but like, it starts and it keeps like repeating the middle part of the animation, so that it never stops.

  • good stuff! I knew nothing about nodes before I watched this! like your voice too

  • The fire is not showing up on the render for some reason?

  • Im really pissed right now, i got to part 3 and all the sudden my viewer dosnt shot the fire anymore, its just black, and when i hit Alt-A the particles do not show! PLEASE help.

  • how did you shift the displace in 5:56?

  • I CANT GET MY PITURE ON THE NODE AREA

  • Wow, I really should learn to use composive nodes!

  • this video makes a good node tutorial. I had never used them before.

  • Sie sind Genie!

  • what how do i play to make the particals move like that? what button?

  • ALT-A to play- esc to stop or pause to use the spacebar

  • Yeah! Advanced tutorials! keep making more advanced tutorials!

  • sorry, i accedentaly rated 2 stars, i rate it 5/5!!

  • Brilliant. I would really like to play with 3D as a hobby. I used to (well still do) own an Amiga and was really impressed with Imagine 3D and Lightwave back in the Babylon 5 days. Back then all I had was 2MB and a 14MHz cpu at the most. How things have changed!

I know nothing about 3D at the moment but what you've just done with this made my jaw drop. Playing with virtual fire, excellent!!! :-D

  • Where did you learn to use the node like that? I learned so much about the nodes just watching this, most of what I learned isn't even about how to do a fire composite.

  • I also watched a tutorial on fire (the one I mentioned at the beginning) and the rest was a lot of experimenting.

  • on uv editor it has a blue background instead of black?

  • look what i did in the first part at 8.40

  • How do you make a video to HD?

  • It has to have a resolution of 1280x720 and I think there is a minimal framerate. I don't know the exact number, but 25 fps worked fine.

  • Thanks. I'm also going to make tutorials and I thought that HD would be great for it. :)

  • how do you pause the whie fire bit in the 3d window?????????????

  • Sry, but I'm not sure whether I understand your question. Well this COULD be a answer: I didn't press alt+a to start the animation, I only used the arrow keys to go forward in time. Or maybe you wanted to know this: If you press alt+a you can stop the animation again by pressing ESC.

    watch?v=QCNLyz0hhSw&feature=channel_page

  • thanks for the tutorial,it really helped me
