This song brought back some great memories. I am from Pakistan and this is 2011. When it comes to showbiz, about of 20 to 25 years ago India had pretty decent movies on the most part. Since they tried to follow Hollywood they crapped out. Now, both India and Pakistan are floating away from their own culture. Either they are being too radical or too western, it is shameful.

All I can say is that: I have seen some wonderful times, and I wish new generations could see that too.

@tahmad20 Yes that is true. Many Bollywood movies are now getting more 'westernized' - I guess that is a natural consequence of increasing globalization. But I also feel there is a parallel trend of many movies (often low budget) which explore Indian (subcontinental) values and are very indigenous in their treatment. Some movies that come to mind are - Peepli Live, Khosla ka Ghosla, Do Dooni Chaar, Udaan and many more. These movies have gone on to do very well. So I am hope this trend continues
