@notrealaccount In the offbroadway version Wendla wears the kindergarten dress from the opening scene the entire musical....so my own theory is that they used proshots from an earlier version of the musical before they gave her the long blue dress and that those shots are from word of your body and the love scene.

My memory is a bit hazy, but I remembered being confused by the white dress in the shots of the love scene in the bitch of living video so the only explanation i can think of is that they proshot the show twice, and used both sets of footage for these music videos.

Yeah, they do. It's a part of the more rock artistic aspect of the show. It's really original and different from any other professional play I've seen.

Not all the time, but a lot of the songs they do. Mics may seem annoying but it helps to emphasize that the modern -style songs they sing reveal what they are thinking, even though they may not say or act on it due to what's considered proper in their era.

The singing only takes place "in their heads" the rest of the characters isn't aware of what they are saying, it's a way to express how they feel.

The hand held mics represent this, since there was no mics of coarse in the 19. centuary. When they speak they are hidden and only appear during the songs. The actual sound comes from the mouth mics.

I went all the way to Toronto to see this musical and I must say I was NOT disappointed. It's was phenomenal! And i even got a picture with some of the cast members! It was definitely an experience I will never forget.
