The most important thing when enjoying music is to be able to listen to a good quality version though nice speakers. I'm not exaggerating when i say spending £40 on a half decent pair of headphones will revolutionise the way you hear music. Do NOT buy skull candy, Beats, or anything with bass boost. Look at reviews, spend a little cash, and go swimming in a sea of gently sloshing music. No drugs needed :)

@Soolsma1 You don't red them to enjoy good music, but what I'm talking about is beyond enjoyment. When you put on a good pair of headphones that seal in your ears and give you a clean smooth wave, your not listening anymore. Your exploring a beautiful soundscape that you couldn't see before. You find that hidden synth or the subtle hi-hat. To close your eyes and listen to a pure uncompressed .wav through some nice speakers is unbelievable in comparison to the earbuds I got with my iPod.

If you had to use drugs to understand/enjoy a song, a movie, a book, a poem... than that artist had failed.

@Hontaish You don't have to be stoned to enjoy it. That's not what Oerjeke is saying, it's just some music sounds absolutely incredible when stoned, usually atmospheric music does this. I'm not stoned now and I'm loving this! But I've listened to it stoned as well, and it compliments how I feel when stoned beautifully!!when you're stoned, you're more chilled and notice certain nuances that you wouldn't normally notice. Don't knock a person cos they enjoy good green n' great music.
