Is 440c also called D2 steel? I can't figure out if they changed the blade material yet again or if those two steels are the same. I would wonder why they keep changing it then. i.e. Cost/breaking issues.
@Photo314159 No its not the same 440c is stainless and holds a good edge and d2 holds a edge a little better but will rust more then the 440c. For the price they are both a good buy.
Dang I miss the D2 blade but that sheath is a much improved one! I need to get my hands on one. Hmmm dear Benchmade......

Blade lengths look to be around 4.5 - 4.75 inches...is that correct? Very good looking knives!
