I really hate the fact that they make vehicles with dark interior, but make the headliner and the trim pieces light, they show everything, I am wanting to paint that material is that possible? If so what would I use and what would be the best way to do so? Thanks for your response!
I have done this in my car and a 2.5 oz can doesn't do much so if u are thinking of doing it better off buying the 8oz off eBay or simply spray website, looks good tho :)
So, If you paint the fabric when it dries it doesnt feel guncky or sticky right? I live in Florida and would LOVE to repaint my seats so I can take the seat covers off but am in fear of the heat causing issues like it does for other paints.
Im tired of my gray interion in my mustang. How many cans of this would you need to do the whole interior. Front seats and backseat? Also the actual name of it. Thanks.
how long does it take to dry. im pimping my truck and im getting rid of old 90's patterns on the seats. And can you get under the seats and on the back of the seats.
hey guys! (looks like a great product)!! i really would look 2 try ur product but i would like 2 ask u a (?) can u turn dark color fabric into a lighter color fabric & do u sell many different colors spray! thanks!!
i just bought some, ill post an honest review after use.. its pretty cheap too.. compared to buying or re-carpeting/uphostering your car.. ill keep ya posted
its meant for cloth fabrics. its like t shirt dye.. will fade a little after a while but will hold up. also i would have taken seats out and car apart to paint it all..
How well does this hold up to every day wear and tear? I know the Vinyl and Fabric my duplicolor rubs off when you scrape it. Does this rub off when you scrape it?
i beleive when they say vinyl they mean the cars plastics...my door panels pillars dash and everything has been painted bright blue to match the cars new paint job and it leaves a nice even factory looking finish
looks good .... and for all u wanna be's out there, yes it can be done and is quiet common to paint the interior... i have been in the trade for awhile now and it pisses me right off when fucka's don't know shit about it and leave dumb comments, stick to what you know idiots...

teamRYANmorris 1 year ago
yes- the upholstery paint is made to be used on material such as fabric auto interior
simplyspray 1 year ago
@teamRYANmorris That's probably a good way to test, try painting the matching mats before the actual floor of the car. You can always get new mats.

you can see more info on the website simplyspray
You can only turn light colors to darker, or revive dark to darker - not dark to light.

so what about the tan plastics?
killalldude 1 year ago
it only works on fabric. the material must be able to absorb water.
