  • This is also on the album "Steve Martin Brothers" which might or might not be on CD. I have a real 1970's version on vinyl. Excellent record by the way -- one side is all Steve Martin doing his stand up comedy and the whole 2nd side is banjo. Awesome record!!

  • Does the CD that has all the new tunes have the same title?

  • Some guys just have it all... Steve Martin is uber talented

  • wasnt this on the crow album

  • Steve used to live in Pitkin County, CO. He wanted to call it Pitkin County Breakdown but he thought "breakdown" was an overused name for banjo tunes, so he went with turnaround.

  • I added this to my "Colorado Is The Place" playlist. If you can't find it, I'll send it to you.

  • Hey ljimmie2, i see you are a fan of The Possum also?

Maybe we r brothers hehe :D

  • Steve, your the best :D

  • Very cool. I had the Martin brothers album when I was a teen--comedy on one side and banjo on the other. This one was one of my favorites (that version had flute accompaniment) and Waterbound was another.

    Thanks!

  • @ashmanra What Pitkin county, what state, is this about?

  • @plasticashery Pretty sure it's Pitkin County Colorado
