cut the muffler off. i got mine cut off and a new pipe put in place for $20 and it sounds pretty great. i have a vid posted on my youtube account. check it.

as far as emissions.. no. but it pretty loud. especially in vtec. i don't have a DB meter so i don't know exactly how loud it is but i think it's totally worth the risk.

also does it sound raspy or anything with out the muffler, nd is it easy to reintal or is it a weld on kinda thing

it sounds deep. i have a video up but it really only picked up the higher sound. it really doesn't give it much justice.

the tone is just like stock... only a whole lot louder.

and the guy welded mine back on but if you keep your muffler, i'm sure the same guy can fix it back.
