Need smellavision over here lol. Have you thought of trying silicone loaf molds? I have wood molds, but love my new silicone ones. They don't heat up as much as my wood molds do. BTW have you tried cutting straight down to slice instead of rocking the knife, that might be why your getting the white halo.Just a thought not sure if it would work lol.

Karen why don't you get a dowel rod (wooden stick) to fit right inside the top so when your done pouring your soap you can place the dowel right across the molds just above the soap, and it might help a little from the bowing your having until you can get your wooden soap molds made. If John would take a bubble bath, and use your love range products then he will be most happy to help you out. Maybe you should make a product in the construction range,

Do you know that is anawesome idea - I do have a soap ready to make Johns soap, but he wants it to be called "Master of the House" or "The Master" (I know I know what are they like? just let him think that) but that name Limestone is an awesome name.

@EdensSecret1 I think it would be a great name for a men's soap. Since this is his trade. Or another name for a men's soap would be Bricks and Mortar or just Brix for another spelling. I knew a K9 dog (police dog named Brix). So Brix and Mortar is my suggestion. So if you do a men's soap then I already have placed my name in for name that soap LOL. Tell John the Master seems too strong for a soap name. Go by a trade and that seems more simple enough.

...trust me, i and a group i'm in are in the same situation. we're doing so much all the time that it doesn't allow ppl regenerate and for us to take care of some "housekeeping" so to speak, for some business and creative issues that need to be address.

Hey Karen, the paper you are referring to here in the states is called parchment paper. The soaps look great!! Love the colors, and the look of the poppy seeds.
