Great Video, If you need any help getting your video/channel exposed check out this site called Tubeviews . Net it has helped 5 of my videos get ranked on the first page. Hope this helps you
Oh you disgust me!...lol your hair just magically fell into my place..if that was me i would be looking like Don King...lol..(and by the way: you dont disgust me-iwas joking)
Omg I was just thinking about putting my hair in a loose ponytail before bed...usually I just put a satin bonnet on at night...but when I put my hair in a pony tail while working out and take it down it's much more elongated...so figured maybe I should go to sleep like that.
Yea my hair isnt that long yet so I have to constantly tie my hair up i am about to do a twist out 2nite but u guys can go to my page and c my hair if u like! comments are greatly appreciated lol
okay so how many damn channels do u have! i feel like i dont even know u any more aut-man. Does mommy know about this one? this whole damn family in on youtube. is amber on here too? wtf. n e way i'll leave you to ur followers and i still wanna see tha bike. please and thank you!
Welcome to the dark side! I used to watch your videos and say I can't belive she re- sets her hair every night. I rock twist outs for three or four days
You'll be able to find them at a Whole Foods if you have one in your area. And they have all different types of essential oils and your vitamen glycerin.
I like this too. I only braid or twist up my hair about 2-3 times per week. The other days I don't even use a scrunchy. My hair is almost shoulder length when in a twist out. I just try to get my hair to lay flat (in the down direction) and tie my hair back. Not using a scarf of course will mess you up though so you can't try the whole satin pillow case thing with this method.
Do you ever wear the high ponytail - when you put the little scrunchi on - that was too cute on you - i'm a ponytail chick and can't wait until i have enough growth to do just that! add a flower or bow - BAM. you're all that and a bag of chips.LOL.
I do it slightly different. I cant stand ponytails when i sleep feels like it pulls. what i do is i take a perm rod and use it like a ponytail holder...after i tie it up making sure its secure around the head and loose on top, i reach in and unsnap the permrod and give my head a shake and then i go to bed. the beauty of this technique as you have discovered is that the only thing that flatens is the hair around the sides and top, the the curly hair covers that right up.
Yeah, this is how I've always went to bed and it's always worked for me. A little spray to refresh and I'm out the door. But of course, I'm a low maintenance chic. lol
i knew you'd try it eventually. i do i regularly. when it starts looking worn, i just twist it back up w/ a moisturizer or conditioner and go to sleep. next day it's like a brand new twist out again. :-)
I think it came out really well. I do a variation of this by putting my hair up just as you did (add moisturizer to my ends first), except I tuck the ends within the scrunchy I use. This helps to keep the ends moisturized and give it a bit of a curl. I then put my scarf on but I leave the top of my hair out so that it does not get smashed. This is ok, because I sleep on a satin pillow.
Great idea! Just did my BC after transitioning for 9 months. So I have been experimenting with a lot of styles. I tried the curly fro but the overnight thing messes me up in the morning. I will try your bedtime routine..Thanks!
Turned out nicely! That's typically how I go to bed every night with my twist outs and it always comes out great in the morning. Only exception is I use a satin bonnet, but sometimes I'll loosely band it up (like that) or use bobby pins and to put it up in a similar fashion and just sleep on my satin pillow case...always turns out fine for me. I'm too lazy to re-twist every night (lol) so thankfully this has never failed me.

Hey, your hair looks so soft and managable. My hair would be huge and kinky look because I have kinky new growth. What is your hair type by the way?

Man, I wish my hair could hold twist outs for 3 or 4 days like that!!! I'm one of those that NEEDS to re-set her hair too! ;-)
Like Autumn said, only if it's in a curly fro or something tight like a cornrow out--I think I could get away with making it last longer too!!! :-)
