I'm learning to understand rather than immediately judge or to be judged. I cannot blindly follow the crowd or accept their approach. Kevin Mayhew doesn't have a hand in this poem, just it's pockets. I see that Kevin Mayhew is a publishing company one of many around the world that use the poem on posters, cards, etc. I assure you it has been verified that my grandmother wrote the poem in the 1920's. I however am not seeking any financial gain from her work. I simply want people to give her the recognition. She submitted the poem to the nuns at her all girls Catholic school as anonymous. I don't know why she did this.
