Ha ha silly program! I understood him fine!! Loved how he said bike instead once he he such a cute boy and glad he is enjoying learning English, really cool to watch someone learning English, makes me understand my learning better of foreign languages.
Good job kid! Good for him working through his frustrations. I speak English so I don't understand what they are saying, but it sounds like the parents are being very encouraging to the kid. I am glad that they didn't let him give up on "bicycle". They helped him work through it until he got it right and then he was so happy! Yay for good parenting!
The only reason he wasn't getting bicycle, was because he wasn't saying it dirently into the microphone, he was saying it fine, but when you do rosetta stone you have to speak lous and clear.
ha its kinda funny seeing people learning english. But i shouldnt be talkin ^.^ Im tryin to learn a new language now and cant wait to get rosseta stone one day :D
Well, if you want to actually LEARN a language, stay away from Rosetta Stone. But if you prefer only simple phrases that will hardly ever pop up in conversation. I used Rosetta Stone German, and by the end of Level 5, i'm still a beginner. There are other, better software methods like TELLMEMORE or Pimsleur
Rosetta Stone only teaches simple phrases like "the man drinks". Even in level 3, you're learning shit like "the man jumps off the ladder". Rosetta Stone is worthless. It took 5 months, and i didn't learn too much. Now, I'm using TELLMEMORE, and I do know a decent amount. I know good amounts, i could make some light conversations, but after Rosetta Stone i really didn't know much. Now I'm a bit better off with TELLMEMORE, but I haven't been studying that long...ROSETTA STONE SUCKS!
Nonono, I have version 3 of Rosetta Stone German, I know. But if you think those passive-speech 6-screen "dialogues" count as conversations, you are sadly mistaken. The program gives no real conversations, even those screens where the people shown are conversing, you either choose "the right phrase" in a multiple-choice format, or do a "repeat-after-me" speech thing. And the things they say hardly pass for a real conversation. Man: "I fell off a ladder" Doctor: "Take this twice a day"
Nice dude, my primary langauge is English and I can completely understand what your saying. I'm trying to learn Chinese, but I haven't got Rosetta Stone yet.
cool im trying to get the irish language one myself im seriously trying to learn it and this looks like a good program i know its expensive ive already looked into about to order level 1 irish

You seriously went to Level 5 in German and can't speak or understand German?
Could you understand a German movie? If someone spoke to you in German would you understand?

@Billymaysfan6837 I think it teaches you the basics and rather than giving you exact things to repeat they give you room to experiment
