@anitahyde Hi Anita, Norwegian Forest Cats shed their long coat in the spring and then when the daylight hours start to shorten, they put it back on again. Although in the fall they lose more before the long coat starts to come back. Right now I'm combing mine out every couple days and pulling quite a bit of coat. They don't lose coat year round. Because they do have a long double coat, it should be kept combed regularly to prevent mats. Let me know what you decid. :0)
