  • These guys are too classy for that cheesy Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.

  • wow, that was a nice performance. pity pinder wasn't there though

  • "...it s no point trying to make justin hayward leap about on stage. pete townshend can do it much better. when justin gets worked up he taps his foot..." - Graeme Edge to a journalist in 1973. cute. a class act for over 45 years.

  • Just great. Can you think of anyone who could perform live, as they did, and replicate music recorded in studio and/or in concert as well and as true as that performance of Tuesday Afternoon? I cannot, specially remembering that Tuesday Afternoon was recorded over TWENTY SEVEN years prior to that performance on Regis and Kathie Lee. Kathie Lee said it all at the very end, INCREDIBLE!!!

  • OK, completely random, but from some angles Justin looks a bit like John Tesh.

  • 27th of December - happy birthday Mike Pinder, you re a good man.Wish you all the best lad.

thanks for the beauty. a fan since 1967.

  • yes they are the class act of rock n'roll and as Don Rose put it back in the late 60s, they are the Sistine Chapel of rock music. Long live the Moody Blues, happy 70th birthday Ray!!!(29 Dec.)

  • i AGREE THEY SHOULD BE IN THE HALL!!!! I BEEN A GREAT FAN SINCE THE 60'S WHY ARE SOME OF THESE SHITTY GROUPS GET IN

  • It doesn't matter if they aren't in the R&R HOF. Kathie Lee said it all when she said, "You guys are the class act of rock and roll." That's all that matters.

  • The day that Days of future Past was released they were undesputed legends. Their first five albums are untouchable.

  • PUT THEM IN THE HALL OF FAME! 100%

  • I dunno, I never considered them "Rock and Rock" More like "Rock Classical" especially Knights in White Satin.

  • I have been a fan since I was 18-long time ago. Had all their music. They are

timeless and will always be remembered. It was amazing to hear Justin sing

that song with no orchestra. His voice is still amazing. Not to mention Ray on

his flute!! Thanks for posting !

  • yes they are the class act of rock n' roll! a fan since 1967.

  • I don't think its so bad that our Moodies aren't in that Hall. The Moody Blues are TOO GOOD for such a sub-realm collection of white noise. That's the only conclusion to reach other than the folks who are responsible for inductions are not true to themselves! That Hall of "Shame" doesn't deserve such a band as this. We know who they are!!

  • Totally agree just saw them they were phenominal. they are in the hall of fame in our hearts

  • It's too bad the hall of fame is a popularity contest, much like those silly votes in high school, such as, "The most likely to succeed" and the prettiest couple and all of that other stupid crap. There is not 1 reason this band shouldn't be in the hall of fame.

  • @rrip1 Could not agree with you more!!

  • @MoodyJill2 Incomprehensible why they were not inducted 20 years ago. But they will be. Have no doubt, even if we all have to write the Bigwigs.

  • @rrip1 you're kidding me ! I assumed they were in the hall !

  • @lpgft Anyone with any common sense would assume they're in the hall of fame, but they aren't. But at least Joan Jett with her 3 or 4 well known songs to her credit is in.

  • @rrip1 The RnRHOF is a joke.

  • @SecsSells Yes it is a joke, especially now with the beastie boys inducted. Maybe Miley Cirrus will be next

  • I can't understand why The Moody Blues are not admitted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

  • @Tommiboy193 Because Kurt Loder kill puppies!! Seriously mr loder hates The Moodies and Yes with a passion and he is the "chairman" of the RR HOF board.

  • @bluejfk He hates ELP too - hell will freeze over before any prog rock groups get in RRHF

  • They're so classy, I just love the MBs! I saw them live almost 4 months ago and they still sound as good as they did when they started. Justin's voice still melts my heart, just like it did when I was 12 and I heard "Nights" for the first time. It put me in a trance then and it still does.

  • Beautiful! To see the Moodies perform up close & personal in intimate setting is incredible. They all can play & sing just as awesome sitting down, as well as standing up as we usually see them in concerts. They don't always need an orchestra, humongous amps, big stage & crowds to perform so incredible & memerizing. I've seen some vids of Justin performing solo on guitar and he's absolutely amazing!

  • Wonderful, as usual. I enjoy actually hearing them sit around talking, then the unplugged performance, as you all said, was amazing! LOVED IT!

  • I have never seen this before! It is great! They can just play right there in the studio without getting all set up and sound so great! Just one more reason, as far as I am concerned, why they are the best ever. And I am sure I will love seeing them in a couple of weeks!

  • ......Legends Having Fun.....

  • LOVE THIS! LOVE THIS! LOOOOOVE THIS!!!! Oh The Moodies are just pure magic for the soul!! A true gem to the music world!! Justin is just such a love!! That man is one gorgeous, gorgeous man!! And a voice that just peirces your heart with its beauty! ILY Justin!! The Moodies forever my friends!! ♥♥

  • @twinklebear22 You said it all....AMEN!!!

  • Jill!!!! This is wonderful!! I have never seen this before!! Thank you for sharing this!!! <3 <3 <3.... They are so awesome....such talented gentlemen they are....
