uh guys my version was 5.50 i tried it on that version and guess what i got 5.50 M33-6! i put iso games on it and it worked!!!

Ok, your tutorial is very comprehensive and very easy to follow. However, you know when you talked about "hope it doesn't update to the newest version?" mine did. it updated to system software 5.00 M33-6. I followed EVERY step the same as you (even got the same messages and everything) Any advice or help? Btw, i agree the hard part is taking off and on the battery cover

well, when it was flashing my pandora battery maybe fell or i don't know and the screen was black and the psp bricked. but i put the tool battery one more time and it worked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

on slim it will but the lite is unhackable but the datel team sais they have created a psp 3000 or lite tool battery but everyone is sceptical especially alek and dark alex. they both say that it may not work and it might of been a fluke when dates claims it worked

Thanks for the great videos. When it stated with 2 minutes of opening the plastic packaging I knew it was going to be simple enough for a complete newbie like myself. I tried dxnation's tutorial but the disc created by his recommended Total Newbi... program didn't boot. However using the Catb50 program that you recommended worked perfectly. I've even update to version 4.01 now. I used the Datel Service tool which converts a battery to a tool battery, and back, and costs £12 from Amazon.

ALso if your psp bricks, you can do the same method like he did but you NEED A MEMORY STICK ADAPTOR AND A PANDORA BATTERY, JUST THE SAME WAY YOU DID IT WITH THE PSP AND IT WILL UNBRICK IT. Believe this downgrader brick my psp and i did the same method he did and it was ALIVE!!!!!!!

The very final step where it asks if you want to create an MS Boot, you need to press Y then Enter. Otherwise it will cancel that and then you'll get the black screen.

1-PC has to be XP

2-Follow steps exactly>press y when it says press y

3-If errors come up it will not work, so redo process or try on another pc or try with smaller mem stick than 4gb, but 4gb worked for me

4-After install on mem stick turn psp on with the pandora battery exactly how he did>leave me stick in, turn PSP off, put AC power in, then Pandora battery. PSP light should turn red. Turn on the PSP slowly if it does not work redo step 4.

If after all this it doesn't work u're screwed ha

Nice tutorial man. I am having some problems though. I followed exactly what you did to make the mms, and the cmd says that I made it successfully. When I try to use the pan battery and the mms, my three lights come on, but stay on for like 10 sec, then the system just shuts down. Do you know what is wrong? By the way I have a fat psp running on 3.73

I have 2 memory sticks the 1 gig was a bit on the small size these days. You can turn what ever you have into the magic memory stick. Then when your done just format it using the psp and use it as normal.
