i had the complete opposite! i have very pale dry skin and this is by far the best foundation, its a thin consitency but its buildable and you really dont need alot! i didnt find it drying at all. i use this with clinque almost powder makeup and its fantastic!

One of the best foundation I've used is YSL teint majeur-$100.00 and YSL teint resist-$60.00 From quality, texture, longetivity etc. it works perfect on me. I tried Chanel, Dior, Giorgio Armani, Nars foundations, they work wonders but not as much as YSL. But don't take my words for granted because we all have diferrent skin types. so you really have to know what type of skin you have and then you can choose the best foundation that will fits your skin type.

I bought this a long time ago, like 3 years ago and it still feels so soft and nice on my skin. It covers up my freckles very easily, which not a lot of foundations do. Sadly it's too light for me right now, so when I'm done with my current foundation, I'm SO gonna reprchase this !

dior gives more coverage but NARS has a much nicer finish and sheer to it with great coverage! I prefer the NARS personally!

This does settle slightly- i would say to try NARS Sheer glow, Sheseido Sun protection liquid foundation or Chanel pro Lumiere! Good Luck!

Can you do a review on Estee Lauder's double wear? I really wanna try it because they say it's transfer-proof and that's what I need because when I hug someone I don't want my makeup to come off on there shirt. It's happend before and it's embarrassing I'm currently using Revlon Colorstay and it's pretty good.

@CassidyMarieOfficial ive tryed estee lauder dw and its good, doesnt budge from your face it gives you a matt powdery looking finish!! which is great if you like that finish but if not try estee lauder dw light the coverage is pretty much the same but the finish is slightly more dewy :) thier isnt much colour chice with the DW light one but loads in the DW but they are both good x

For 60 bucks I need a few good reviews lol..but I would get it if you lked it :) I hate cakey and Im trying to choose between the dior skin nude and the spray... I dont need tons of coverage thats what concealer is for :) oh and for me its a must that it looks natural outside not orange and clingy too peach fuzz ...let me know if you can :)) I love your oppinions :))

It is not oily at all- it is a little heavy though- the Sheseido sun protection is actually much better if you have it near you! :o)

The Dior forever is definetly a much more long lasting foundation! However make sure to moisturize- you dont want it to dry your skin! :o)

Dior forever is an amazing coverage founadtion but it is very matte finish- the nude has a little bit less coverage but has more of a sheen to teh finish! :o) I hope thsi hleps you!

Also on the same note..How can I HIGHLIGHT cheek bones, brows etc..without using powder type highlighters which ALL settle into fine lines (I HATE Lines...LOL).

I was just wondering, I know you have a lot of makeup and they have expiary dates. How are you planning on using them all within their expiary date? Usually a foundation's only good for 24 months once you open it and some makeups have even shorter expiary dates. Is it safe to keep on using it after their dates?

Not much of a fan of Dior products in general, however, the advice you've given is well taken. I'm actually interested in the Chanel Pro Lumiere, but have made a promise to myself to use up my (3) bottles of Revlon Colorstay first!

Hey Lisa, great review as always :) Hey I went to IMATS in Pasadena and I picked up this foundation which is soo HG status. It's by FACE Atelier. I heard and read it is better than Giorgio Armani and the cost is like $40. I got 2 of the pro sized ones for $27 from the show because I was so impressed with it. I tried Mehron, Kryolan and MUFE they were ok. I have been a loyal MAC SFF user because of the coverage it gives. I bought it and it truly covers and layers like a second skin :)

Hi Lisa,

I started using MUFE Mat Velvet + about a year ago, and it is great foundation!!! I really love it!! Because of this I decided to try the HD, thinking that it may be even better ... but it sucks!! I don't like it either, and I cannot wait until I finish the bottle :/ You should really try the Mat Velvet +.

Unfortunetly they seem to be resistant not waterproof- someone just told me sheishedo makes a sun protection liquid foundation i might try though! Sorry I havent found one yet!

I havent tried it,but I know It is waterproof. Ive swatched it once on my hand and I couldnt remove it unless i used oil several times.I found it super nice as far the consistency goes,however the shades are a little too dark for me without tan.I think it will surely be what you are looking for.

Hey Lisa--I just got my order of St. Tropez mousse and it seems to fade quite fast (like in 2 days). I'm moisturizing and exfoliating/shaving prior to using and I moisturize once a day. How often do you have to reapply it? I have to say, it is 1000% better than the Faux Tan. The color is amazing and no streaks. Thanks!

Mine usually lasts 4 days I can go 5 but I notice it to much then. I use a gradual tanner instead of a regular moisturizer in between days though- that might help you!  Enjoy!

I love it but I don't think it's a high coverage. If people want high coverage this is not for them. It's a really flawless result. And people with acne should not use that; it has lots of perfumes in it.
