I just lost my best friend to cancer 3/5/10. He had major surgery in his neck and 2 months of radiation there too. And that was in 1994. He was cancer free for 11 years,then slowly it came back. He had a feeding tube inserted in 2008. But he still fought it. He had his own apt with visiting nurses 3x a week. He went out did his thing...not letting it beat him down.and never complained. He called me every 2 weeks and came for visits. I will miss that with all my heart...he was only 57. (my ex)
