I'm sorry, but since this was posted you've probably gotten better. Your film clips look decent but you have horrible resampling in the videos. If editing in Sony Vegas, ALWAYS right click on every clip and go to properties and disable resample. That resampling ruined your shots. Also your covering the most basic things. I'm pretty sure your better than this and people aren't this dumb. In this video your talking to eight year olds. Make sure you remember who your audience is for. :D
Dude, Yeah I know, an insignificant question here, but where do you get the car models from?
BTW, a great film making vid! I sent a link to it to a friend (freekickerz1). Hit him up and tell him that EastCoastFrat said to Subscribe to you! He really needs some vid editing tips.
@TrueMOBSTER hey trueMOBSTER. i am making a movie. ive made a few before, but these tips have helped me become better. So im making a horror film. i have the actors, the script, the setting, and everything set up already. But the movie takes place at night. Do you have any suggestions on what camcorder i should get? i need a camera that is reasonably cheap, (Less than 500 american dollars [which i think is like 320 pounds]) and works really well in low light enviornment. Thanks for your time!
@Rebelshockey19 Well I've had some good experience using sony cameras, make sure it's HD and watch some reviews before buying one, When your filming set-up some lighting so your character isn't completely dark, maybe have him using a touch,, Check out my new series coming soon which will be the steps to making a short film :)
Trick on getting ground shot videos or just photos use 2 (L) brackets and connect them in a half square , attach it to tripod use camera screw attach it to the tripod then attach ur camera on the inner side of the square and make sure u use a light weight tripod and hold it upside down , use camera timer for photos if it came with it. Enjoy!!!!!
Great video, some decent tips :) I just hired a script writer to write my short film, it didnt cost much and I have a low budget all the time. I used to use a camcorder to film, now I use the Canon 600D dslr which is amazing for filming on. CHeers for the tips, really helpful
