this is a really important question i love your vid, here is the question: can you put anything on the hard board to make a puck slide better, and if there is what is it?
hate to break this to u kid but regular skillpads are MADE to use black pucks. you dont need to put pledge on them to made them slide. so ur homemade skill pad is really not anymore special than mine or anyone elses.
how do those pucks you were usin work on a roller hockey rink or smooth concrete? are they decent because i knwo they are alot cheaper than the brand name ones/.
tileboard or panelboard is great at first but after u use black tape or anything on it, it slows down alot so i put armor all on it and it slides a little better
can you illustrate how to hook up the bungie cord and weights--including height, spacing, etc.--to create your homemade tape to tape. I saw an actual one in another video post, but think your clever adaptation may be the way to go.
i went to home depot to day they didnt hav the plastic board or the hardboard but they did have plexi glass i dont know if that would and if u do hav to put stuff on it wat is it?
The blue steet is an acrylic sheet, which is pretty much the same as plexiglass. And you can polish it with furniture polish, or i hear WD40 works (i have never used it though). But I am absoulutely sure that furniture polish (ie. pledge) works.
Vinyl flooring does work, but I personally don't like it, because many times the surface is not flat. (had raised texture). I don't know exactly what you saw, so i would suggest you considering if you think it is smooth and slick enough for you. If you think it works for you, go for it! =]
plexiglass is going to cost you about twice as much as the lowest grade of acrylic. and 1.5 times as much as the middle grade. Generally, plexiglass is a more expensive, higher grade of acrylic.

Would this sound like a Home Depot Store in America/Canada?
It's an acrylic sheet, (you might have to go to the doors and windows department) if they don't know what you're talking about then just ask for plexiglass.

I went back to the Home Depot Store, And bought Vinyl Flooring.. Costed me $11.30 From 1.6 Meters.
Its really good.. i have practiced on it for 2 hours straight.. im taking a break now.. lol
And the good thing about it. Is that it has Hard cardboard under the Vinyl.. sO theres no bubbles, Curves ETC..
All cool!
thanks alot for you help! =)

MANGO!
I went to a "Home Depot" Store..
They didnt have all the items you recomended.
and they were "hardboard. tileboard, acrylic sheet, plexiglass".
The only thing i found was Vynal Flooring that was VERY slippery. I tried walking on it and there was hardly any grip.
Would you recomend this?
please reply. thanks alot! =)
Noss2nv 3 years ago
YES!
Vinyl flooring does work, but I personally don't like it, because many times the surface is not flat. (had raised texture). I don't know exactly what you saw, so i would suggest you considering if you think it is smooth and slick enough for you. If you think it works for you, go for it! =]
MangoTango1222 3 years ago

Hope that helps =]
