I've always been interested in railroad modeling.. I'm just wondering though, does this game offer any kind of challenges, I don't expect big dramatic crashes and gunfights, but what is the point of the game? Can this game be used as a screensaver? (like jsut let the train run int eh background for 6 hours and it just goes whereever it goes???

do they have signals and all that to make it heaps more real. Do they make u sit at a red signal for 2 hours at 3am waiting for it to go green? Just like in real life?

Wanna hear something funny? I took 6 months of training, 2 hardcore weeks in Salt Lake City, and qualified as a class 1 engineer only to run software simulators at home.....lol I'm a cutback furloughed engineer....!!!!! funny stuff

I have rail simulator and it's a pretty decent game however there isn't alot that you can do as far as gameplay is concerned. You only get to do challenges for one route. And you can't haul tofc, which you would expect coming from a game like this. This game is missing alot if good stuff that makes a sim fun

Rail simulator is a newer game made by Kuju Entertainment. Train simulator, or MSTS is made by Microsoft and is much older game.

you cab go to recycle bin and empty it,you can upgrade your video card[make it run really smooth like butter lol].you can do a disk cleanup

Does anyone know why I cant start this demo? When I start it, it says Options, and start game, but if i press start game, i get a error message, and it shuts down. Could it be that my computer does not fulfill the requirements? I tried deleting, and reinstaling it over again, but I got the same message.
