I'm having a hard time understanding these neo-conservatives:
They want a small government (low taxes), yet they want complete homeland security and an enormous army to control the oil flow/beat down 'rogue' states.
They want to mix government and church (creationism in schools), yet they demand the constitution upheld at ALL COST.
They pretend they hate lies and propaganda, yet their main 'news-corp' fox is a propaganda machine Goebbels would've been proud of.
Glenn is a rich, right-wing, evil imperialist. He is no average man, he got 32 millions between 2009 and 2010. His salary at Fox News was huge. I hate people who claim to be normal and average, yet earn millions each year and spread right-wing propaganda.

It may work in the short run, but eventually the costs will surpass the revenue. I'm sorry to be the economist who disagrees, but one of the reasons the concept of universal health care in America is such a major issue among my peers is that the US is on the forefront of medical discoveries. Large medical firms fund the necessary research with the hopes of high returns (risk concept). If the US cuts funding, I can nearly guarantee less medical breakthroughs. Only if we cut medical spending can universal healthcare be feasible

Thankfully here in Australia, we have enough money to support anyone in our country with free healthcare. It may work in the short run, but eventually the costs will surpass the revenue. Unless we make becoming a doctor easier and/or overwork current doctors and force drug companies to eliminate profits, we will be in a pretty difficult situation. And imagine how the quality will suffer! scary stuff if you ask me

I'm sorry to be the economist who disagrees, but one of the reasons the concept of universal health care in America is such a major issue among my peers is that the US is on the forefront of medical discoveries. Large medical firms fund the necessary research with the hopes of high returns (risk concept). If the US cuts funding, I can nearly guarantee less medical breakthroughs. Only if we cut medical spending can universal healthcare be feasible
