I did this on Monday, this fight we decided to find a shaman and 2 priests for this, we just popped hero and popped all cool downs to kill him within phase 1, made things so much easier:)

im not so sure that they SOLD for 2000g a ''pop'' bcoz its really whoever was willing to pay that much from the AH, hence, people were saving up for there epic flying mount anyways so i doubt they'd have that much. It was hard getting gold back in BC.

Actually, sunmotes did go for at LEAST 2000g each. Since Sunwell was the last raid available in BC, it was normally raided by more advanced level 70s. Also, gold was easy to get in BC.

possibly, the way you made gold in BC when i was playing is winning a roll on a scroll (crafted professions) or BOE epics in raids....thats all, after time it would add up.
