  • I wish this strategy could be implemented worldwide, but I don't feel very confident that Western prisoners would dance willingly :/

  • how to convince a murderer to do this?

  • Filipinos love to ance and sing. This is a good theraphy for the prisoners.

  • i don't mean to be mean, but the guy talks more than half of the video until the dance actually starts :D (I still added this to my favorites :3 )

  • @101ILoveSpam 6 Minutes 39 seconds to be exact

  • @jbrunsj yep :)

  • I love it!!! solving their issues with dance offs!!!!

  • It dosen't start till' 6:40

  • I thought they meant 6:30PM. :L

  • Makes me real happy!

  • i be leave in rehabiltating people so they can change there life.. dancing is away for a person to express themselves.. Much better than Fighting.. so if it works with changing peoples lives and to make it a better world than go for it!! Iam for it..

  • This is really cool!

  • Dancing doesn't really start till 6:38. FYI

  • They got pretty nice shoes for Prison

  • next thing you know someone is knifed during the song....

haha its awesome! these people did a great job!

  • I think this is a good idea in prisons, music and dance makes people happy, happy people are less likely to commit crimes, ergo, atleast perhaps impacting these people who might be less likely to commit more crimes once theyre out

  • @tanniiix OR they want to stay because it's so cool there, and they continue be bad outside so they can go in again ;D

  • @tanniiix They might want to go into dancing afterwards :3

  • @tanniiix Yea, not to mention going through this must make the inmates closer to eachother, lowering the amount of prison fights because anyone who tried to mess with one of them would get jumped

  • This will never work in the US our inmates segregate themselfs.

  • @ShadyLady132 its in the Philippians or how ever its spelled ;D

  • @rhinosmyth Philippines in English or Pilipinas in Tagalog

  • @ShadyLady132 @diggingforit69 that and in the American prisons it is most likely that the prisoners will use it as a chance to escape

  • This is what happens whenu have only one race in a prison. american prisons should take notes. mixed, fighting and killing. segragated, showtunes. i would rather spend tax dollars on singing than stabbings.

  • Well done for your creativity and non-violent approch. :-)

  • i love when the guy talks for hours and hours then plays the song...

  • JUST SO YOU KNOW I KILLED SOMEONE... Can I go to this prison?

  • After being a cop for 24 years..... I find this very cool......

  • 55 dislikes can go fuck themselves

  • awesome jail :D

  • Ehhh teka muna po......Sino po ba muna saila???

  • wag naman po sana ganun! na parang tinatakot nyo sila.....wag naman po sa ganun!

  • I think it's one hell of a idea to give them the opportunity to dance :) looks like most of them enjoys it, I just hope they don't oblige ALL inmate's to dance and only the one's who want to :)

  • the first man talk al lot !! that is boring you can see all the prissoners looking at him wtf what are you talking now I want dance

  • I was having bad day and feeling scared of the world, but this has made me feel a lot more hopeful. Thanks Cebu inmates!

  • aaww its like glee except in prison :)

  • this is so awesome and fun, it makes me smile :D

  • MOM When I grow up . . . .

  • Thats one way to raise funds for the prison!!

  • The fact that they are in Converse for this, makes it that much better.

  • Are there auditions to get into this jail?

  • Quanta falação ateh começar o video X)

  • 54 person are proved innocent during the court session

  • I wanna go to that prison! LoL

"THREE" - lol three people really sound nothing to him XD

  • did anyone else see that guy in orange with the white sleeve?

  • The prisoners watching, were deciding who to beat the shit out of later. LOL!

  • Prison ,above all, is a rehabilitation center. Who are we to question if we don't deal with prisoners everyday.

  • my right ear loved this

  • Just so weird isn't it? They did crimes outside. N in there they're having a good time? If this is the case, people dont mind going to prison

  • So they did crimes? And all they have to do is dance :P?

  • Looks weird when only one is dancing, looks WAY better when a whole bunch is dancing xD

  • If i did a crime i wanna go here atleast you would no youd have a good time!<3

  • @jorald852 i read your comment and thought the same thing: WTH ??! This was awesoem testimony of teamwork and at leaast they are having fun while serving time :)

  • @jorald852

i live in Ireland and I must say that Western thinking are not tolerant to 'different' ideas.

  • (guy on the right) If I had known this was my punishment for committing a crime, I would have became a felon earlier.

  • Sao mọi người nhảy đều vậy nhỉ

  • Oh my God! They're all smiling!!!

  • HAHAH!!! I love this!! GREAT JOB GUYS!! :)

  • Mr Alvarado may be a murderer...BUT he is HOT! Of course, we cannot forget what he did, but we can acknowledge that he turned his life around DUE TO MUSIC! It amazing how music can effect our own lives...it's the kind of music that we listen to. I know a company that had conflicts daily. The owner started playing gregorian chant over the PA system and within 1 day the conflicts ceased. Some theologians say that God created the universe with a song, I'm inclined to agree. Blessings. WT

  • He said, he killed 3 people and sentenced 90 years in prison. He should get the DEATH penalty.

  • @homesteader9 Hmmm. You must be a Christian.

  • @JerryTKangaroo I just got this message in my email that this post had been made two hours ago. I did not make it. i was sleeping and have never watched this video before either. I guess I forgot to clear out the cookies on a laptop I donated to some relatives in Asia. That said, I AM a proponent of the death penalty in certain cases and I don't have to be a Christian to believe that.

  • @h9 No, you don't have to be. I myself am not anti-Capital Punishment, and I'm as Heathen as it gets. However, when I see a statement made espousing a blanket belief in regard to the taking of a life, particularly in a situation where the specifics are unknown, it disappoints me and raises my ire; and, stereotypically or not, the bulk of the people that do espouse said beliefs do tend to be of a Conservative Christian denomination. Wow, THAT was a run-on sentence. Mazel Tov.

  • @JerryTKangaroo I'm just glad it got you irked. Not because I like to see people irked but because your message flagged a security issue on my end. Youtube uses my gmail to sign in. Seems like everything is tied to everything else now-adays. I certainly don't want people knowing my youtube habits or reading my email. Not that I have anything to hide. I just like my privacy. Thanks for the ire. ;-)

  • @homesteader9 Heh. No problem, gotta keep it on lockdown!

  • Wow!!!

  • I SALUTE YOU WARDEN! YOU HAVE MADE A HUGE DIFFERENCE TO INSTILL DISCIPLINE IN YOUR INMATES BY WAY OF DANCING... WHICH IS INHERIT IN THE FILIPINO CULTURE! THIS CAN ONLY BE POSSIBLE IN THE PHILIPPINES!

  • in america yu hardly see prisoners smile. they shuld do some dance rehab here too.

  • @MastaRain4eva In america you treat inmates as animals, no wonder no one smiles..

  • @lantayan Are you kidding? In America, they treat them as criminals, so that it teaches them a lesson and don't want to go back. And, have you seen all the comments on this video of people saying that they'd do something to be able to do that? I'm not saying that these people would do anything to get in, but criminals in America are treated like criminals for a reason...

  • @samax999 Lol it teaches them a lesson, Kid 52 percent of inmates released go back to prison within 3 years seems like they are not learning a lesson

  • @eviltaco2100 I know, Those people are just dumb aren't they. :D

  • Life in this prison:

    - You get your meals 3x a day;

    - A roof above your head;

    - Forget about bills and expenses;

    - Not worry about your future;

    And get to party everyday!!!

  • @booaia Yes but you lose your liberty. What did I just say? Evidences are now fading away. Freedom doesn't exist after all, we're just pre-determined by many factors we can't even change. That's my last message on the Internet. I ma gonna rape some girls in Cebu.

  • Man, this prison actually looks fun to go to! :P

  • This is an excellent work you are doing, Mr. Garcia. Thank you for sharing these talents with us.

  • I can not believe how long it takes talking, the better I get tired of hearing faster ... but the dancing was very good

  • they should SO do this in the western world, I'd love to see them doin this in prisons in England, America and here in Ireland haha :)

  • I love what you are doing! I love your comments!

  • well done guys

  • haha they r all wearing coverse!

  • @XxhannahxheartbreakX What kailasfreak means is we are all prisoners, whether or not we are institutionalized. I do agree, it is confusing. Because what if the implications meant, we are the prisoners, and they are free? Who then would lead? Confusing mindfuck stuff.

  • i like the guy in the orange

  • @ChloeCola2011 i like the guy in the navy blue shirt

  • @ChloeCola2011 you mean the one in orange with dark hair, right?

  • it beats bein bumraped by a guy in the shower.

  • Considering going to japan and killing a cunt to get there.

  • Comment removed

  • its a message..we all are prisoners..dance your way out of it..by the way..who are prisoners.?.we or them.?.confusing..

  • if i go to prison... its gonna be this one for breaking the dance!

  • is it just me or that guy talking is very patronizing...

  • @markidaman he seemed like such a douchebag to me.

  • I wish i was a felon

  • @jesusgod92 I've got this in the bag. Body bag that is.

  • can someone just tell me how this whole dancing jail got started...i cant understand the guy talking

  • Dancing starts at 6:40

  • just bear with byron garcia's speech, guys. aside from the spectators on the

balcony, lots of people want him to explain how this whole thing got started.

  • they look happy for being prisoners... :)

  • @plouide

    I So agree with you!

  • you have to audition to get in to this prison.

  • @BelayParley the audition involves triple rape homicide, you have to sing "take on me" while your stabbing the victims.

  • This is the most beautiful psychotherapy group I have ever seen. Congratulations to all of you. Keep going. The best of all, not even one of them is fat. Did you see dad? Is time to use this kind of motivation in USA Prision.

  • You think this makes it not so bad to have a record when applying for a job? I'd put it on my resume, just sayin.

  • i love the smiles they're wearing!

  • Muito bom....eles sao otimos!!! Ja assisti varias apresentacoes deles...e de arrepiar!!!!

  • God Bless you Byron. We need another 10 million like you. May you live a long life and continue to bring peace to so many.

  • Filipino Pride :) <3

  • pause at 3:27 you should see the face XD!

  • i know the guy committed triple murders and has to pretty much stay in jail the rest of his life... but ima give arabo an applause and a pat on the back.

  • OMG this guys needs to stop talking and let these men DANCE!!

  • Um espetáculo como todas as apresentações deles.

  • ill bet there all in there because they danced and made people die from amazement

  • THANK YOU for the speech Mr. Garcia. Thank YOU for sharing this. I pray that each inmate feel the presence of God in there hearts, your program can soften their hearts for the introduction.

    God Bless you ~ Deb

  • at least for mr. arabo....he'll learn new dance moves while serving his 3 life sentence

  • cut the speech mr. garcia....

  • coolest ive seen

  • i wish they showed it from the sky because they would look like oranges and raision moving so cool!!!!like if you agree

  • hihihihihihih TOPCOOL

  • this is awesome!

  • I think I would have felt better about these dance routines without the story of the guy who murdered three people and was the "featured" guest in this video. Maybe something was lost in the translation, but the "I don't want to talk about that day because I'll cry" came right off the playbook when you're appealing to the parole board. Nice he's having a good time dancing; what about his victims?

  • By the time the speech was over, most of their sentences had been commuted.

  • is this a prison?
