  • the eyes are too far apart, but other than that it looks really good

  • I love your technique for the proportion of female face with the triangle

  • Am I wrong or did the eyes look a little far apart?

Apart from my obvious lack of art skills I really liked the video and it helped a lot, thank you.

  • This was really helpful. Thank you!

  • brilliant

  • This helped me more than people who actually talk while drawing to eplain.

This i think does all the talking for you in my opinion.

    thank you.

  • Thank you to you for this great comment!

  • My pleasure. I assure you ^_^

  • simply amazing!! x

  • I'm happy you like my video!!

  • verry cool

  • Thank you dear friend!

  • There should be another [invisible] eye on the middle, in between the two eyes. That way, you can determine where to draw the eyes. The face is, in general, good, but the eyes are too far apart.

  • I agree, she looks like an alien from the Plieides

  • I'm happy to meet an alien from Plieides! Welcome!!! ^__^

  • Yes, it is true.

  • mcm cacat je bila ujung bibir tu tak selari dgn tgh anak mata...

  • ET telefono casa.............

  • Wow, I love your Techinc! it's very helpful! ^_^ Ps.what kind of pen or pencil are you useing? lol!

  • It is a simple pencil 0,5

  • omg she looks EXACTLY like this kid i used to know 0_o

  • u draw very fast! That means u think faster and have experience.

  • Amagawd. This is way easier than what my art teacher teachs me. the triangle is way easier. The oval-ish circle takes a long time to perfect..

  • good ,fast and different specially the triangle way instead of a circle new way to draw a face !!!

  • wow u start with a triangle instead of a cirlce lol

    great job 1/5

  • Although that's somewhat a nice drawing, her eyes are out of proportion... The chin is too straight and pointy. And the nose vaguely has a figure...

  • Actually for her style of drawing the picture matches quite well. She wasn't trying to do realistic it was just a base and an example of what you can start off with. :D

  • fantastic

  • Aw, I was looking for realistic... but this is still good for anime! ^-^

  • me too. I'm like "Thats not proportionate at all!!"

  • i think it's more manga style.

  • WOW!! i am speechless >.< thats just great man!!^^

  • i envy you...and that girl is just beautiful. Did you name her?

  • Ive got that same pencil, but ive run out of lead. :(

  • The eyes are too far apart...

  • Fish person at the start. :D

  • it looked like a italian resturant waitor, in the beggining.

  • jolie mais raté il doit yavoir un oeuil d'ecart entr les 2 yeux

  • God knows i need this

  • ok, jaries12....your phicho.....

on a different note, awesome drawing. =) I wanna try.

  • Very very intresting technic

  • nice drawing, but.. the eyes are too much apart and the mouth is too big, no offense meant mate..

  • Also the lips are too big and no offense my cousin that's about 11 or 12 years old can draw wayyy better then that. Not to say who.. HEHE

  • Pretty nice.... Tip eyes are too far apart, no offense i can't draw ike that anyways :P

  • but ure right... there should be 1 eye "between" the eyes... but hes good ^^

  • Great Pic =D But The Eyes Are To Far Apart But Still A Good Drawing Tho!

  • even if the eyes are further apart than I would like, its beautiful.

  • upp it's really really good! and u did it quick...but i think...the eyes are too far apart

  • L2 Proportion.

  • Your a damn good drawer .. but if i had a kid that had eyes that far apart, i would've drowned its ass in the creek.

  • Nice video, but your title says proportional. It's not proportional at all.

  • Can you draw any video game characters realistically, such as The Master Chief from the cover of a Halo guide book, or Cortana from Halo 2 and post it on youtube (preferably an image of Cortana from Halo 2)? It would be greatly appreciated and helpul, thank you.

  • the rule of thumb for eyes is that it's an eye's width apart, so you can almost just draw three eyes and erase the middle one. Also, the nose is usually 2/3 of the way down the entire head, yours is a little close to the mouth. However for stylistic, it's very cute! I like it alot!

  • The location of the ear and the distance between the eyes are way off...Ohh well, nice anyways

  • Weren't the distance between the eyes too big?

I thought so..still very nice, keep it up!

  • Wow

  • am i the only one who draws the body first and draws the face the last ? sometimes i dont draw the face at all. i only shade it up.

  • same here

  • were you born with this cool "power" or hard work?

because that is really cool probably it can be both of them...

  • I like it, great work.

  • Awesome dude

    seriously cool

  • Really cute, but it's not proportional for real human's face, buy it does still look cute! :D

  • Wowowwww!

  • very nice!

  • TAHAT WAS GREAT

  • I love your art, remember you from the old Enchanted Artists forum, keep up the great work!

    Ulysses

  • mmm basic is one eye distance apart and ur eye lvl is about middle of ur head older ppl tend to have it a bit higher and younger lower

  • hmm i like it..and as an artist myself i like the way u use ur material.. the tone u put it..its not realistic yet it will do for me in a cartoon sence..but damn man if ur gonna call it proportion push them da,mn eyes togther

  • hmm...the ole triangle in the middle of the face to keep eyes, mouth, and nose in proportion eh? That's a very ingenious way to keep things in proportion, I think I'm gonna have to try that out. Nice and simple. Your drawing is better than most on youtube, but yeah I think the eyes should've been closer together. Maybe u should keep the eyes inside the triangle, just a thought, but an excellent picture regardless.

  • If you ever want to go into realistic drawings you will have to take serious, anatomy lessons. If you decide to stick with a "cartoon/anime" style, then you're ok i guess ;)

  • Utterly fantastic, thank you for sharing this :)

  • wow! i wish i could draw like that! ive seen some of your other drawing videos-You're VERY good at drawing!!

  • THANXXXXXXXXXX forever!!!! smack!

  • whoa... this is cool.

  • It looks perfectly awesome, but in a more formal drawing, the eyes would be closer to each other, wouldn't they?..

  • Yes...the eyes isn't closer.

  • that is fantastic!! i really wish i could draw like that.

  • This is good for a cartoon but is not realisticlly proportional. I think that is what ppl are hanging up on sanguigna, because you said 'proportional'.

  • eyes are only one eyeball width apart unless oyu have down syndrome

  • whao, nice style!

  • Really thanx my dear friend!! :)

  • Amazing art!

  • Absolutely THANX for your support!!! :)

  • Yo.... Wow that the first time I see that method.... your an incriable drawer... better than me... but I do have to say... The yes are too far apart in this one... but it still looks wonderful...

  • ^__^ Yes, the eyes is a bit too far because she's made like a cartoon. Thanx for support!

  • Nice :D the eyes are too far appart though :) Nice all the same.

  • Yes the eyes is too far because this is cartoon caracter portrait and so the proportions are not like a real portrait ^___^

  • Wow great stuff! The end result is fantastic.

  • Man, I love your style! Sure we're friends!

  • Really??? Now I must be search somthing about this artist!! Thanx!!

  • i want the fritz willis' art book! btw, that drawing is too cute!!

  • ^___^ I've see it in TV and it's STUNNING. In the past I've worked with round and some lines for the proportional faces but now this method is more better.
