Love the show, but didn't like this mission. So you take a bunch of blue collar guys trying to tailgate and relax and force them to cook for some rich executives ? Ofcourse they stole the blue cheese burgers... you promised them they would get fed.
This is an example of a master at work... he is so good at catering and creating good food, he needs someone to give him a challenge. So far I haven't seen him fail!
@knowatimean He's failed a few times. In the first season, he failed the CIA challenge. He also failed in the Candy Store episode and he lost to Guy Fieri in that camp challenge episode which you could say was a fail, too.
This show makes no sense what so ever. The guy gets some stupid challenge & then he only has a certain amount of time to do it. Yeah ok, what does he get if he accomplishes the challenge? Nothing. What happens if he doesn't complete the challenge? Nothing. What's the motivation for him to get it done? Am I missing something?
The motivation is to make those he is in charge of serving happy. If he doesn't, that affects his reputation as a chef. So yeah there's a bit of motivation to get things done in that respect.
What does his reputation as a chef have to do with completing some silly challenge? What, he doesn't complete the challenge & nobody will want to eat his food any more?
I bet when Mrs. Reid said they had the best fans in the world, He could'nt stop thinking about the fans that stole his burgers. He's never goin back lol.
the guy who gave him the challenge seems kinda like a dick. typical eagles fan

Irvine is the best chef on food network because he doesn't have stupid blonde spikey hair.

This show really suffered in the 30 minute format. The hour format is much, much better.
