  • So smooth driving) On Gamepad?

  • @Celsus1984 Yes, as most often, i'm to lazy to set up the wheel :-D LOL.

    Kind regards, Ronald.

  • @musicmanic1965 hi its me again, you said that you like all types of music. but do you like justin baby-face?

  • @TheCpdude64 LOL, To be honest, i haven't been listening to his music (yet). So i can't say :-D

Have a happy and healthy old and new! Kind regards, Ronald.

  • What happend to the textures in the GT5 version. They took out quite alot of details that really made this Track really look good. Your not ment to take away PD, your ment to add and build ontop of what you have :(

  • @GWADA971JAY I agree, they should have kept the old design, and build on that. But it's not TO bad in my opinion, but just wanted to show the difference. LOL.

Thanks for visiting and taking the time to comment. Happy holidays!

    Kind regards, Ronald.

  • @musicmaniac1965 Yeah its still a solid looking track. Great video by the way, i forgot just how good GT3 A-Spec looked, and nice racing lines to. You to friend, have a great holiday.

  • Obama's elf (8)

  • do you like muse too? cuz i can heare muse playing in the background.

  • @TheCpdude64 I like almost every type of music, so yes, i like Muse too :-D The music you hear is in the game, so it's cool to know Polyphony used real bands/artists music rather than a in house musican doing the music.

  • I personally love this track waaaaaaaaaay more. Like you siad the light coming through the trees, as well as more detailed tuneels and gt5's track looks barren and all the grass died :(

  • @warhawkpro Hahahahaha, i did not even noticed the grass, but youre right! Why would they have changed that?

  • @warhawkpro because its been like 11 years without treatment ! (from gt2 to gt5 )

  • @thepivotman157 lol i guess you can put it like that :P

  • Actually, how many cars did GT3 have in a race at once?

  • @silenceofthehills I'm not sure, but if you'd ask me, it would be 6.

  • Cant believe how far games have gotten.LOL when i first played GT5 (on a standard defintion tho) i thought there wasnt that much a huge distance from playing this GT3 which i played only a few months ago. Now that ive played GT5 i can see the diffrence and GT3 jus looks like a PS1 game. WOW imagine a time when GT5 looks like a PS1 game.

  • @Bigboiice LOL. I'm not playing on standard definition, but to be honest, exept for the resolution and the amount of collors on screen, i found it surprising how close they look!

Thanks for visiting. Have a nice day.

    Kind regards, musicmaniac1965.

  • In fact, this one seems a bit funnier. The graphics were great for its time, and still are, for those non-obsessed with hyper realism. This track reminds me of Green Plant from F-Zero GX. And the colours look a bit more like Sega games.

  • @swrutra I guess that's why i love this track the most :-D it's collorfull, and that sun shine effect trough the trees is nice too! And is F-Zero GX not a Gamecube game? Or are you reffering to the N64 game?

  • @musicmaniac1965 yes, it's a GC one. And the only F-Zero I played. There is a track there with trees and sun beams penetrating through them.

  • @swrutra Then i've seen that game as well at my nephews house. If i'm not mistaken, the game is developped by Sega?? This F-Zero game looked also a bit like wipeout, but only better (at that time :-D).

  • I usually shift gears at 2500 rpm...

  • @Darker250 To be honest, i shift listening to the engine sounds, so maybe i can be quicker if i also try to shift at 2500 rpm :-D. Thanks for the tip.

Oh, but this video was not ment to show how fast i can drive tough, as this is only a compare video to the very first Gran Turismo game on the Playstation 2 :-D.

  • @musicmaniac1965 lol, what i said was sarcasm.

Switching gears at 2500rpm is for grannies and is really slow lol.

if you really switched gears at something like 8000rpm in real life, you would burn your engine

  • @Darker250 By just reading text, it's hard to find out if someone's serious or not. And looking back, i can see what i did wrong, as i did not payed attention to the number, But there's one vehicle that shifts on around the 2500 rpm, and that's a big truck :-)

  • @thegreat0298 on which part?

  • @3:09 this part looks better than GT4 and GT5 Trial mountain. and gt3 trial mountain looks way better as a whole as well

  • @shadowtsunami indeed, i wonder why polyphony desided to take out some cool effects, like the sun shining trough the treetops after the tunnel.

but, no matter how some things may have turned out less than i'd expected, its still a good game, altough it could have been a bit better on the technological part... lol.

  • @musicmaniac1965 yup idk in GT3 most of the original course look better. GT5 is a good game but it is my least favorite funny how that goes because GT2,GT3,GT4, the GT5 lol i seems like they are getting worse and worse. I want to write them on how the menus shoulda be, and the damage shoulda been, and the online play shoulda been, the only thing that i like in gt5 is the car selection (wish all were premium, the physics and some of the new tracks. they need to go back to basics i'm afraid

  • @shadowtsunami well, the menu is just a matter of taste i guess, as i heard my nephew loved it to bits. but i found it looking a bit to messy. not like a games menue anymore. but, after a day or 2, i got to grips with it, and know where to find where i want to go, and then it's not that bad anymore. still, my most fond memory goes to GT 1 on PSONE and GT3A-spec on PS2 :-D. but they where not as huge as GT5 is. so this game has a different ace up it's sleave :-) but i'd rather have quallity

  • @musicmaniac1965 true on that i mean when GT2 came out everyone was like holy cow. i mean the game had about 650 cars in it which was awesome back in the day. If Gt5 woulda came out in 2007 or 2008 it woulda owned but it got way overhyped. I also would like to help polyphony digital with there car selection, like this *if the car models look the same with no important exterior changes then pick the one with the latest year* it is a no brainer lol quality over quantity

  • @shadowtsunami instead of quantity :-D

  • Trial Mountain looks shit on GT5, one of my fave courses and it look better in GT3 WTF ?

  • @thefinalword1980 to be honest, that's what i thought as well. it's almost unbeleavable how long they needed, and for what, those premium cars and extra tracks? as the rest of the track data remains close to the orginal :-D

but for me, after being a bit disapointed with the game, i tried to get over it, and just play for fun instead of watching for detail. it worked. it still is a fun game, as gameplay wise, there's nothing wrong with both games.

  • LOOK!!!

    gt 3 had a mileometer

why doesnt gt 5 have the mileometer?

  • @JettaVI so you can't select it in options as well? i haven't looked myself to be honest :-D

  • what about Gran Turismo 4. i mean i liked all the Gran Turismo games. and yes i'm buying back GT1 and 2 because they no longer works and GT2 is a platinum. but i want the Black Label version cuz i like the original disc artwork. and yes im getting Gran Turismo 5 and Gran Turismo 5 Prologue very soon. all the PS2 games are in full working condition. but GT3 and GT Concept are missing manuals but i'm not really a geek whan it comes to instructions manuals i'm not really sure about Gran Turismo PSP

  • @CMCMgamereviews i have them all, gran turismo psp is fun to play, but the only way to get cars is do races, as the car's circulate. you can't go to a manufacturer and just buy what you like. that's the only thing i dislike about the psp version. but gameplay wise, and the amount of tracks is just staggering for a handheld game.

  • @musicmaniac1965 the choice of cars is staggering. it really is for a handheld game

  • @CMCMgamereviews indeed. to bad you just can't get them as soon as you got money, but do races and so they will swap untill the car you just saved up for comes by again :-D

  • GT3 the best Grun Turismo in series

  • @FedskaTheOne i agree, gt 3 really blew me away when it was first released. i do like the other gt games as well, but for me, gt3 was really special.

  • why does this track looks more interesting on the PS2.

  • @tyberzann00 good question, but i'm afraid i can't give the answer, as i agree. i'd expected a lot more from the ps3 version. it's not a bad game, but it could have been mind blowingly good, instead of just mindblowingly BIG :-D

  • this track has more charm on PS2, specially the tunnels and the long straight.

  • @AdriLeverkuhn indeed, and lets not forget the sun shine effect trough the trees :-D that's really wonderfull to look at. even on a lcd tv, while this game has been developed with tube tv's in mind.

  • I like the car choice at the beginning.

  • @carveriscool me too, also the one of forza motorsport 3.
