  • what does this Duchenne do to their bodies? pls tell me i dont understand, in easy english

  • Beautiful I write as tears roll out of my eyes, I know what it is like for children to die, please boys if you have this disease, I have no idea why you have it but God does. He has a purpose for you and He does truly love you. God bless you and live a happy life.

  • I have just noticed that two people actually disliked this clip. How sad- for them!!!!!

  • This video is so sad and thought provoking. It puts my"problems" into perspective. I favourited it so I can forward it to people in my profession (I work with Special Needs Kids). The music accompaniment brought tears to my eyes. All you kids with DMD please remember You are more special to God than I am and rightly so. When it is time for him to call you he will wrap you in his loving arms and pain and suffering will be no more. Thank You for the inspiration you provide

  • how sad :(

  • it gives a medicanet baraa-b.net what is that

  • Having DMD myself and being twenty, I dispute the end of this video. What do you mean without proper care, I'd be dead already? The only proper care step taken was to supply me with an electric wheelchair with the capability of tilting up and down, are you telling me that this disease screws most people over a lot earlier on? Geez, this depressed the shit out of me, I'm going back to the one that mentions the potential of stopping the disease's progression, this video sucks.

  • I've since posted this video clip on Duchenne Foundation's channel. Check out our other little clips that attempt to raise awareness of DMD by visiting our DF channel. Stay loved.

  • الله يشفيهم

  • This is why the US needs a form of free health care for its citizens. These children did nothing wrong and just got horribly unlucky, they don't deserve any of the hardships they are getting so the least we can do is make sure they get care without breaking the bank for the parents.

  • Thanks for sharing this. You guys are much stronger than so many people in the world out there. Wishing you all the best!

  • Excellent video. Thank you rainrtr

  • This video makes me feel terrible for complaining that my back hurts in the moring when i could still run around jump and do everything that a normal boy can. Yet these boys will never no what "normal" is and after watching this it has really made me be much more applicative about my body. Thankyou boys for continualy fighting and being an inspiration for me.

  • I'm a nursing student who is studying to become an RN and I believe helping children with this tragic illness is a path I want to take. This video has helped me understand this condition better and I want to help patients with this survive longer with happier lives. These are such strong people and I only hope to be as strong as they are.

  • Gracias por compartirlo, es una forma sensible , didàctica de mostrar la progresiòn clìnica de la DMD

  • Amazing video, I'm a medical student and I don't think I've ever been so inspired.

  • Thanks for video - fantastic for my students to see the timeline of progression.

  • DMD patients STAY STRONG.

    God bless.

  • thanks for the video, much appreciated.

  • HI GUYS! I'm also a DMD patient, Im Andre 19yrs.old from Philippines, it is a heart breaking feeling watching my other brothers fighting this disease, so sad! • @dilan678

very glad for you Andre. I hope that your disease progresses very slowly, slowly enough that when a cure becomes available it will be of use to you! blessings!

  • @dilan678 Bullshit you have DMD and can still walk at nineteen, go see an actual doctor and get re-diagnosed, you probably have Becker's.

  • @MrAtephobia be careful with your mouth. Telling me I'm bullshit is non sense because I've been also suffering as what these patients have, I will actually planning for another check up and to confirm anything unclear,

  • @MrAtephobia it is so sad for you to say that to a kid wat if you had it wood you like if someone toldyou wat you said think i fill bad for you

  • these boy's need a cure and need it now? they should speed things up abit, you know. I hate this disease, it's not fair.

  • Thank you for this video. I will show it to my physical therapy students the next time I teach pediatrics.

  • Thank you so much for the video!! It really helped me with my paediatrics exam! My heart goes out to all the DMD sufferers, and other children with similar disorders as well..we should all be thankful for what we have and how lucky we are, instead of complaining everyday about petty things

  • Thanks for the video, really helpfull to learn the stages of the disease, in order to contribute to it's early and accurate diagnosis as a doctor. Medical student from Chile.

  • Such a sad disease :(

  • thanks for the video!

  • Thank you,,,, amazing video! And a horrible disease !

  • I cried right the way through. My 11 year old grandson has this evil illness and it was like reliving the passed and dreading the future.

  • Remember this clinical progression is around 6 years old. For many today, these dreadful milestones will be thankfully delayed because of better treatment and care, most notably steroids and physiotherapy, then cardiac and respiratory care. But sadly, in many regions and in many families, this natural progression would still be the best case scenario.

  • Well done film and very informative. Thanks

  • Bravo to the creators of this film, this brought tears to my eyes. I will be entering residency as a pediatrics intern in the Summer of 2011 and it is helping children through conditions like this that motivated me to choose pediatrics...my heart goes out to all the boys with DMD, their caregivers and their health care providers...I hope that a cure is soon found for this horrible condition.

  • Med student from England-Very useful video, thanks so much for posting.
