  • how is smoking bad if supposedly god created everything for mans use??

  • STOP SMOKING!!!!

  • @AdoptedbyHim why ? Jesus told me to.

  • I could not listen to your teaching you are MURDERING YOURSELF WITH UNCLEAN CANCEROUS SPIRIT...cigars are deadly and are you for real? No man that seeks the LORD continues smoking.

  • @AdoptedbyHim before you proclaim an untruth - you should have your facts straight.

  • i had the companion bible for a few years, it blessed me, and it delivered me from smoking. ;)

  • you may donate it to me,i live in miss.i'll cherish it an fix it too.thx for your understanding my brethren.pstr.david

  • @MUNSTER601 Afghanistan ????

Shoot me an address in the PM.

  • I bring the hardback to bible study for the appendixes. I'm not hyper d but I find the notes helpful. It's a real beast! The only problem I have with study bibles as a MAIN bible is you can't really say it's the word of God when it has also man's words in it...

  • 3 min plus into this and what a colossal waste of time! Just get to the freaking meat and potatoes. Who the eff cares about the fucking binder and quality of the book.

  • @emerson24 Anyone who actually uses their bibles instead of keeping it as a paper weight.

  • I was searching for BULLNIGGER

  • I have the PDF copy and print off books as I study them, highling and writing notes on the pages and keeping them in a binder. Another excellent study Bible to check out is Finis Dake's. Discerning Bible students can strain out the errors in each of them (e.g., hyper-D, Gap Theory). I enjoyed the cigar (an homage to the stogie-loving Spurgeon?), the cellphone and the noisy little guy--real-life touches that made me feel I was sitting out on the porch with a brother in the Lord.

  • @GaryPeterson67 Spurgeon even QUIT for An EXAMPLE......

I've heard of Dakes, is the finis dakes the same thing?

  • @ChristianArmorOfGod Yes, Finis Dake is the man who compiled the Dake's annotated reference Bible (it's full name). It is a wealth of information. CBD often has 'em for sale.

  • @GaryPeterson67 Yes, I reviewed that when I was getting the companion, and for many reasons chose the companion over that... I find it very useful when you are doing research or looking up related texts to use the reference bibles of both the Companion and the Cambridge...Although I feel there's a selection of companion notes on the versions I looked at, several I wouldn't buy, I selected the one I did because I found some essential and some obscure passages that they both complimented eachother

  • Thou Shalt Not Smoke Cigars. People Who Smoke Cigars Will Burn in Hell. Just Kidding. Don't Get Fired-Up. Jordan Maxwell uses the Companion Bible.

  • @redletterchurch I'm glad that you can now get a digital PDF version of it too... comes in handy.

  • I have the same Bible and it fell apart in the same place. It had a funny smell to it as well, it just wasn't worth it. To top it off the paper was cheap and the notes contain Hyper Dispensationalism.

  • That's a good bible. I found a hardback, large type edition at a thrift store and quickly snatched it up, with no major regrets. Whenever I do buy a bible though, one of the first things I do is to look to see if it has a sewn or a cut & glued binding, and my Companion Bible does NOT have a sewn binding. You have to be extra careful with these cheaper bound bibles, never dropping them, subjecting them to intense heat or cold, and not opening them up a full 180 degrees flat. A case also helps.

  • @hlaltimus You can have a book bindry do a real swell job of rebinding them or sewing them... there is also a way to have them glued, and they will almost never come undone... I have one bible glued and have had since 90's and it's still perfect... but the drawback is that it cost a few bucks

  • What is up with this video?

  • You are right about the quality of Bibles now. I do not know why people allow the corrupt and greedy Bible Publishers to print such shoddy products. You read it for over a year and they fall apart.

  • The Cambridge is not the case though, they still last a long time.

  • I love the Companion Bible to. I see It is as the best study Bible ever made. Good video!

  • It's tough to beat, in fact I learned so much through my earlier years walk... and still today. I find that we need several foods of variety to encompass a fuller meal.

I Like to overlap references from two or three sources, even more, and the drivability of Gods word is an intriguingly cohesive impaction upon an open mind when one uses both the Greek and Hebrew sources / translations.

  • Great going Rob, I like that book too and did not know they had a pdf files for this, I looked for decades. I thank you from the bottom of my heart, and saved it as a favorite.

  • Thanks, but it was God who moved me to talk about it.
