  • Holy shit. This is way better than Wargazm to be honest. Stay in this band.

  • Omg this shit is da bomb!!!

  • good track by the way

  • heeeeeeeeeey do you like arkona :D ?

cheers from slovenia mates, great music ;)

  • @FrK0

    hahaha cheers man!

  • I very much enjoy this song.

  • @Evilgreenface

    Awesome!! :D

  • @ryangaston88

I've found it about a year ago.

I was a fan of the Wargazm stuff, but was curious if there was anything serious.

From one Musician to another, greatly impressed.

  • @Evilgreenface

thats really encouraging to hear dude, cheers :D

have you heard the other song we have on youtube?

Search for "Knergeizer - Toxic Revenge"

  • Comment removed

  • @ryangaston88 I'll give it a look see, man.

Also, I think that you should check out the one song we have up. It's called "Unknown" because we couldn't think of a name. It's just an instrumental at the moment,

If you look up "Burning Effigy - Unknown" you'll find it, probably.

  • Excellent!

  • kickass metal in its beauty

  • defo hear the Carcass influence here :D

  • @Rhys666Metaller

    sweet!

we have an intro track for our EP that sounds almost exactly the same as reek of putrefaction (it was totally accidental... after we recorded it we were like... "hang on a second.... fuuuuuck!!!").

I was contemplating calling that track "worshiping the carcass" or "carcass worship"

  • I love the mysterious stranger intro

  • Comment removed

  • Wow, fukin wicked!! \m/ amazing!

I have a question tho for the vocalist, how?? maybe u can make a how to scream video or smth. I'm a vocalist and I've tried many styles and I have been intrigued lately to try screaming so i'd appreciate all the help i can get! thank u n rock on!!! yeaa333 \m/

  • I think as Ryan's said before the best thing to do is practice.

He got his sound after many months of trial and error and practicing his fucking nuts off. I'm not quite sure specifically what he does........but stay away from a DVD called "The Zen of Screaming" it makes you sound like shit and you're not even screaming properly if you learn that method.

  • @Paranoidave You gotta be really careful if your going to be a screamer, I would say take some vocal lessons, some professional training in the least to get you started in the right direction....no matter how well you can scream if your not using the right muscles/ holding your air properly/ proper vocal control etc.... you can ROYALLY fuck up your vocal chords!!! This is why so many bands get new lead vocals or start singing...cause they fuck up there voice!!!

  • @Inkremainsforever

cheers for the advice. Me and Ry have been doing this for about 5 years now and we've got the technique down pretty well, or at least we can go four hours without our throats getting remotely sore.

It's what I call the "Take what Melissa Cross says and do the opposite" technique

  • @Paranoidave

that's "for hours" by the way...although I imagine four hours would also be pretty close xD

  • I found initaily the hardest part is that feeling of self conciousness... it will completely mute your scream.

so i found the best thing to do is wait untill you have an empty house then blast some of your fav screaming cds really loud with the lyrics and scream along. you probably wont be able to hear yourself very well but thats ok because you probably wont sound brilliant at first and sounding bad can put you off.

the most important thing is to drink lots of water while your doing it.

  • if you start to feel a scratchy feeling in your throat and it starts to hurt then stop and drink some water.

if it hurts your doing it wrong.

tense up your diaphragm (at the bottom of your ribs - like you would if you were going to be hit in the stomach) and try to loosen and relax your throat.

i was thinking about making a screaming vid because there are so many on youtube that tell you that the pain is ok etc... PAIN IN YOUR THROAT IS BAD... it means you are damaging your vocal cords

  • just to let you know... im the vocalist in knergeizer... not just some randomer who thinks he knows what he's on about lol...

i hope the other comments that i wrote 6 days ago are of some help

  • that's paranoidave for yah.. PWNED! xD

  • This actually kind of reminds me of Bring Me The Hairspray. Hahahah oh man, please keep telling me to listen to this shit its so entertaining :D

  • Well I'm glad you enjoy it.

Although we're influenced more by ACTUAL Death metal, but seeing as you appear to be a fan of As I Lay Dying and the like, I can understand you haven't any basis for actual comparison.

  • I actually listen to Dying Fetus, Cannibal Corpse, Brain Drill, The Faceless ect... listen to the vocals in this song and tell me that's death metal... this is basically deathcore bud.

  • The vocals in the song are Death metal. OH LOOK I SAID IT!

    so high vocals = deathcore?

    Low vocals = Death metal?

I don't really agree with that, as it implies Carcass is Deathcore while Waking he Cadaver is Regular Death Metal.....

  • This song really reminds me of As Blood Runs Black/BMTH. I'm not just saying that to piss you off, either.

  • I can't really see how as we don't pigsqueal or use breakdowns at all :-/

What exactly about it reminds you of a completely different genre?

  • I just notice certain little things in the vocals, like at 0:15 in Off The Heezay by BMTH theres a very similar vocal to around 0:25 of this song. I haven't bothered listening to the whole thing yet...

  • ...........fucking hell.

you have GOT to be a fake account, or at least very VERY autistic or something. Nobody is this dense in real life.........

  • Okay Mr. Music Science boy. Hahahahahahahah.

  • well now we've established you're a fake account I'll guess I'll leave you with some helpful advice.

    - Work on that right hand, on all of your videos you always slip out of time and it's painful.

    - If you're going to record your guitar for youtube at least buy a decent input box or a microphone, what you have sounds like a wasp in a tin-can

    - Write more. Playing other peoples songs isn't going to get you anwhere.

    Cheers :D

  • That's a creative way to end an arguement now isn't it? Now I've got some advice for you.

    1. Don't act as though you're better than everyone when you know you aren't, there's always someone who will call you out on your bullshit

    2. Accept other people's musical tastes and just deal with it. Your Trivium interp was funny, yeah, but you don't need to bitch at people for liking them. I play guitar for fun, not as a job or to prove something to everyone. I'll play whatever the hell I want.

  • I think you could also learn from your own advice :P

Also the Trivium interpretation, as all the interpretations, are works of satire. Treating popular metal bands with the same kind of juvenile insults that they give to pop-music (despite pop-metal being BARELY a notch above in terms of artistic worth)

But considering you're obviously so clever you already knew that right? It wouldn't be like you AT ALL to misunderstand what people were saying......lmao.

  • ...how is anything of what you just said taking my own advice?

  • I said you could learn from your own advice, because you *ahem* "act as though you're better than everyone when you know you aren't"

That's how can you can, and should, take your own advice.

The thing about the interpretation videos was me acknowledging and re-assuring you that your 2nd piece of advice was already taken on board.

I thought you said you were smart, but it seems every one of my comments confuses you.

  • I don't think I'm better than everyone. I do think I'm more intelligent than some people, but not better. Like I said, I just called you out on your bullshit, you thought I'd be one of those random idiot fanboys so you decided to argue with me, and as I'm sure you now know, big mistake.

  • I've argued with people smarter, funnier, more interesting and generally better at arguing than you. Sorry, but it's the truth.

Please don't flatter yourself into thinking I'm particularly bothered by you or that I regret any of it.

  • Good to know you spend your time arguing with people over the internet all the time.

  • Looks like I struck a nerve :P

  • Yeah you made me cry :\

  • he does have a point.

and it doesnt matter about the screams or the growls

as a matter of fact, death metal and deathcore is different from how theyre played.

    Deathcore: less solos, more breakdowns.

Death Metal: less breakdowns, more solos.

  • Really nice reminds me Cannibal Corpse! I think it would be cool if u added an song with just the background voice.

  • That would be a pretty boring song for me to play lol... (i do the main vocals lol)

However i DO think that daves low vocals should be louder in the mix.

  • @ryangaston88

sorry about that XD im not saying that ur singing is bad actually it's pretty good, but the background voice reminds me Cannibal Corpse's vocals! It would be cool if the daves vocals should be a little louder!

Btw: I prefer how ur screams sound

  • man dont appologise for your opinion lol...

cheers for the support though man... have you heard our other song: Toxic Revenge... its on youtube too.

  • @ryangaston88

Ok im going to hear it rigth now!

  • "but the background voice reminds me Cannibal Corpse's vocals! It would be cool if the daves vocals should be a little louder!"

That's quite flattering cheers! (Although I hope you mean George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher and not Chris Barnes, lol)

Yeah they're a bit quiet in this song, mainly because my mixing abilities weren't as good 2 years ago and gutteral vocals have a lot of mid and low end which just swamps out the drums and bass if it's too high in the mix and not EQ'd / Compressed good.

  • i dunno... Barnseses gutterals were good in CC... just not so in 6ft

  • meh, I still prefer Corpsegrinder on the whole though.

lol "RISING FROM THE GREEEHVE, I WANT TO EAAT YOUR BREEEHHNS!"

  • hmmm... i hear the similarities with your high vocals aswell :O

    i jest i jest

  • dude... get on facebook chat or msn or somthing

  • @Paranoidave

    Yup I mean Corpsegrinder!

  • Holy Bull fuck finally you play something "decent" not that crap that was going around WarGaZm

  • ....I wrote this at the same time as some of the Wargazm stuff....this song isn't "recent" by any means....almost 2 years old in fact.

  • stick to this it sounds better

  • @Paranoidave this is the style you should stick with...it's perfect in every way....it will kick the asses of Slipknot, Trivium and BFMV....yaknow....those pussy posers....this is true fuckin' metal!

  • Now THAT was brutal!

nice Mark Twain sample at the start ;)

  • Wow.... just awful. Good luck with that.

  • @Djwyattwood

    thanks.

Good luck playing other peoples music for a living. :)

  • Nope. Music is just a hobby of mine. Some of us got the memo we can't write great music, yours apparently got lost in the mail.

  • Really? Lost in the mail eh? oh.... :(

I guess I should get you in contact with all the people Who I produced, played with, performed in front of and who paid me to compose music for them (especially the last 2, so you, obviously being high-lord master of what's good and what isn't, can apologize to them for the sheer FUCKING AUDACITY I showed expressing myself in an artistic fashion and hopefully re-arrange some kind of refund system....

    Sound good?

  • No, I would never recommend a refund for people you fooled fair and square. Its their own idiocy that lost them their money. You don't know much about capitalism do you?

  • No I think you're right, we MUST refund them because you're the infallible lord of all music that's good and no-one must ever question you're always correct and flawless opinion. Don't be so humble. I'm still working on getting that contact list for you. :) don't fret yourself kittenboots. x

  • You said it not me. I'll just agree with you. if you want to refund your ill-gotten gains, that's up to you. Don't forget to let them know how stupid they were: if nobody tells them, they won't learn. Good luck with that.

  • you didn't have to say it, your flawless knowledge of everything is above the words of mere mortals.

  • Good to see we're at an agreement.

  • Well thanks for your opinion. Not everyone enjoys death metal, which is fair enough.

So just leave it for the people who do enjoy it perhaps?

  • nice song...

  • finally... new material

    well, at least ok material

  • lol... we currently have a new song in the works... an acctually new one

  • Stormlord , kalmah , norther , imperanon,aeveron pwns that XD

  • well... yeh... they are all signed bands that have released proper studio albums...

our songs were recorded in a bedroom on a tiny budget

  • aaaah i didn't know then sorry dude keep going. You got skillz i admit that.

  • It still sounds pretty good even if the recording was done in a bedroom on a tiny budget!

  • Yo dude i gotta say you dont really show me that you kick my ass at everything, but i gotta say it's pretty good, not better than triv, but kicks everything else's ass u've ever made fun of. Two Thumbs Up

  • timing*

  • ok, the singing isnt my cup of tea but im sure if ur into tht kind of music im sure it is really good(not being sarcastic or derogative) but as far as the guitar goes it wasnt gr8 n i heard some timming issues. the drummin was pretty cool and big ups for creating most of tht by yourself. being a fellow musician i dnt see how u cant respect a band from a creative stand point, not sayin u hav to like them. but it sure beats hating somethin u cnt change

  • Because it's a very common misunderstanding that the second you pick up an instrument you have to turn into an absolute wussy who can't express ANYTHING but a sickening "Thumbs up" attitude......

  • Just out of interest mate which bits did you think were out of time?

Ps it's nice to get some constructive critisism for once instead of: "OMG u guys suck trivium rule!!!"

(I'm the singer by the way)

  • ahhhhhhhhhh!!!! Knergizer!!, U guys are great, I had a better comment, but it got deleted, Dave I cant believe how far he came from his wargayzm stage, he is amazing!!!

  • funny thing, is a lot of the latter WarGazm and early Knergeizer material were written at the same time xD

It's not so much me "getting better at guitar" just consciously writing different styles.

  • even though i hate you! i must admit this is pretty sick. do play guitar and scream in thiss too?

  • Well I admit that's kinda admirable. Beats being another one of those kiddies who'd say it was shit regardless of how it sounded, so kudos. :)

For this particular recording I did everything except the high lead vocals (My friend Ryan did those, he's the main vocalist). So that's Lead Guitar, Rhythm Guitar, Bass, Gutteral (low) Vocals, Drum Programming, Producing, Mixing, Writing, Arranging etc.

  • ohh sick, i guess your ok *kick my self in the ass for saying that* so do you have an album or anything

  • nah... we dont have an album... just demos of 4 or 5 songs...

hopefully going to get an ep sorted soon when dave and i shift our asses into gear

glad you like it :) have you heard our other song thats on youtube?

  • yeah it sounds really good. high quality to for not being signed. get in with machine you will be epic.

  • thanks :D

by the way... what did you mean by "get in with machine"

(perhaps im just being dumb... but i didnt understand that bit)

  • oh hes a sick producer. he did lamb of gods new album if your in to them

  • This is professional, I can't agree that it's better then Trivium, but it's better then Suicide Silence and WhiteChapel.

  • Hmm... Not bad. Fucksight better than Trivium.

I'd have pumped up the bass personally, but then my ears have adjusted to stoner metal, so anything with the bass lower than about 5 just makes my head combust.

  • I agree. Please consider that from the original recording this has been digitally fucked up a bunch of times.

Once being converted to an MP3 (which can't produce anything below 20Hz anyway....) then to a video file....then once again to youtube.....

  • Ah, yeah, that'd do it.

Why can't YouTube run WMVs or MPEGs or something so we don't have to butcher the quality of anything we upload?

  • I know it sucks....blame that damned FLV format thingy.......although if it wasn't there everything would take up a lot more space and bandwidth. Although some of the HQ and HD videos look alright....give it another 3-4 years xD

  • ...the holocaust of life, man seriously? A bit of originality please

  • meh... perhaps it's morbidity is a bit of a cliche but it goes with the theme of the song...

to be fair though; the underlying theme of the lyrics is "life is short, so enjoy it..."

anyway... who else has that song title?

  • Now, I'm a fan.

  • dude! you should replace toxic revenge on your main profile page with this... give it some more exposure

  • Wow after one year a new song came,

    However, Gaston still owns Dave

  • ....but we both do completely different types of vocals???....there's not really much room for comparison.

  • they're good but gaston's are more preferrable

but dave is really good is wargazm

  • I'm confused do you mean compared to my vocals in Wargazm or my vocals in this?

Because the one wargazm song with me screaming in is older than the OLD knergeizer song.

  • i think he means that i just generally kick all kinds of ass in every aspect of everything ever!

    im just THAT awesome

    lol

  • You just can't understand......

When you sing i wargazm You make it awesome

When gaston does the growls at knergeizer He makes it awesome

  • daves vocals aren't loud enough i think...

    but haha thanks

  • but we've had this one almost as long as the other one (and a few others)... we just havnt uploaded them all.

uploading them all would be daft

  • Fucking awesome

  • YO u guys kick ass seriously, where r you from??? :)

  • :D thanks! thats always nice to hear!

We come from Gloucestershire in the UK but we currently live in Cardiff/Newport (Wales) in the UK.

  • Comment removed

  • We haven't had a session in a while.......things have gotten somewhat hectic.

Still the holidays are here and as such, I intend to capitalize upon it. Riffage ahoy!!!!!!

  • When are guys going to do a live gig!!!!!

    And maybe music video!

  • perhaps we ought to complete the line-up first... we are still short of a bassist and drummer lol

  • I could fill in for base and have a rotating door thing with Dave.......but yeah....a drummer is needed.

As for a vid....i know a few places.

  • ideally we need both you guys on guitar though really...

quite a few rythm and lead parts

  • Just realized (at least a day later) i spelled bass as base........silly me.

But yeah......guess guitars would have to be the same. Its hard finding bass players in Cardiff, let alone drummers. Most i know are taken.

  • its laaame... all the good drummers always get snapped up quick.

why are people so opposed to being in more than one band? :P

  • Knergeizer kicks fucking ass!

    Love you guys!!!! <3

    Miss you :(

  • ah hah!

at least SOMEONE on this site knows what they're talking about :P

  • Nice stuff.

  • dude i fucking seen that show in the beggining. it was sick.

    Good song btw

  • Eh..........

  • boring blackend thrash metal with no substance.

  • what a silly song

  • how do you define substance?

  • nice attempt....but I can tell you not an ounce of black or thrash really made it into this.

Don't be jealous because you have no friends to form a band with. LOL

  • You're saying it's boring and lacks substance, but you practically worship Lamb of God.

    I smell a hypocrite.

  • Holy shit. This was way more awesome than I was expecting. You've improved a shitload since "Toxic Revenge".

  • You guys have some pretty killer recording equipment, and I'm enjoying the song quite a bit, despite the fact that I haven't had a particularly avid interest in extreme metal for quite some time. You gonna make any official releases any time soon, or is there still more writing to do?

  • well I'm still waiting on my external hard drive to be fixed (which contained the master recordings for all but 1 of the knergeizer songs) It was lucky Ryan still had the MP3 for this.

I imagine there will be some kind of self released EP, probably through CDbaby or cafepress or something.

  • or at least untill all those major record labels lap us up and we make billions by going on top of the pops!!!!!!

    because that WILL happen!

  • Ah, I see. I'll have to keep an eye out for that, then.

  • lol... the awesome thing is we just record in daves bedroom with a 100w (i think) marshall amp and a standard vocal mic to record all the guitars etc.

dave is just awesome with the mixing and producing etc.

  • Oh damn. Yeah, I've only successfully gotten two bands together around here. With the first, we had nothing to record with. The second, we had some killer equipment. But with both, the material didn't even end up being what I wanted to play, so both of those went down the drain pretty quickly.

  • Ah so you finally uploaded it......About time too.

  • Kind of reminds me of Impaled.

  • Probably does, they're one of me and Ryan's favourite bands. I'd say our biggest 3 influences for this band are Carcass, Impaled and The Berzerker.......but considering the latter 2 just imitate carcass anyway (albeit in an awesome way) you might as well just say Carcass xD

  • that is like... THE BIGGEST complement EVER!!!!

    thanks :D :D xxx

  • awesome song :P

  • Is that clip at the beginning from the movie Heavy Metal?

It sounds familiar but I can't place it.

  • Damn, I'm impressed.

  • Do yee guys gig?

  • as we still lack a drummer and a bassist....sadly no.

  • u are a master

but what happened to ur interpretation of slipknot 2 video??

  • ...it's still up. It was offline for a few months, but it's been back online a good 2-3 weeks now.

  • This is superb, the man of many talents

  • Dave Marcovechio - Guitar/Bass/Drums/Gutterals

Why do you need the other guys then?!?! rofl

  • me AND sean write the guitar parts....and Ryan writes lyrics. :P

  • kk

anyways, don't like mixed genre but respect many musicians...

  • just out of interest.... what genres would you say we mix?

    im curious.

  • Melo Death, Black Metal, Groove Metal. That kind of stuff. Not my type of thing. I prefer Thrash and NWOBM :D

  • thats fair enough :)

im pleased that you said those genres cuz thats kinda pretty much what we're going for... but also death metal

  • c'mon... i help write the music too :P oh yeh... and the screaming lol

  • Needs a new vocalist...

Brutal instruments cant stand the vocals though

  • what was it you didn't like about the vocals?

    (im just curious)

  • just dont feel them aye

  • wow i like this, the vocals sound black metaly

  • My guess is that the intro is from Mysterious Stranger.

So how about my kvlt points?

Oh yeah, and nice song, I guess. ;)

  • pretty sweet brahhhh

  • dude, awesome job, i love this shit! (Taking smal veys spermicide away! lol!)

  • Thanks guys. :P

    Encouraging feedback.

Oh yeah....+20 KVLT points to anyone who knows where we sampled the intro from.

  • It's from the Mysterious Stranger right? Nice song by the way.

  • +20 KVLT points sir!

It's kind of relevant to the song though...the main lyrical theme is the double nature of the universe leaving good and bad ultimately indistinguishable. When we saw that weird cartoon we knew it was perfect.

  • Nice intro ;)

  • nice quality and good sound.

  • very good "gutterals" Dave XD seriously nice job! i want to hear more

  • its like the sound you make from your throat (named after part of throat or something)

  • What exactly are "Gutterals?"

  • the really really REALLY deep growling.

In latin it does mean "throat" but it's kind of misleading since you produce gutteral vocals from your diaphragm.

  • Ah, thanks for clearing that up.

  • apart from the beginning i really like it

  • I like, I like.

I was worried that there wasn't much comming off your page.

Put more Knergeizer tracks online, cos too many mislead individuals are judging you via Wargazm.

I think I might put this on my mp3.

    Keep it up!

  • metal is gay.

  • Guess it must piss you off that a lot of "gay" fans also love post-rock.....
