well a major thing to be sure you do is make the dress UNABLE to zip up all the way to the top. Kairi's dress is permanently opened at that certain spot and if the dress were able to zip up farther, it would have flaps like a hoodie jacket

Also, making the belt elastic was very helpful [it's just a big piece of elastic, no fabric needed!]

my dress and tank top are 2 seperate pieces but you could connect them if you wanted. the tank top is stretchy since it's skin-tight

well I bought it by the yard, the wider was more expensive than the thinner, but they're both under $3 per yard.

the elastic works so much better than leather in that you can make it FIT you and it slides on. and doesn't slide off lol

thank you! I think it's better quality because, since it was my first time sewing a cosplay, my sewing teacher helped me. ....and she always wants things perfect x]

if you plan on making it, remember to make the dress NOT be able to zip up all the way in the middle, otherwise when it's unzipped [as it always is] you'll have flaps.

well to be honest, I didn't make the purse xD I don't really like it, and I liked the loopy thing on the belt, so I made both sides that.

I would not make the purse out of elastic, maybe leather or a black cotton with interfacing either sewed onto it or ironed on (that way it's stiff!)

well let's see, the shoes are air walk low-top "converse" found at payless, but if you have a Rue 21 store, I'm pretty sure they sell high top pink ones (with funky insides lol)

and then laces are just black ones.

I didn't do the whole 'indigo' look since I thought the pink matched the dress nicely =]

Ever heard of shop called 'sneakers'?

They have some pretty cool shoes there are really simaler to the kairi shoes. I found some myself there and then just made them the right color by painting them.
