As per the earlier comment - he may have joined to do the more glamorous tasks but he cant complain about doing the more mundane tasks. Try doing the type of mundane jobs most Brits have to endure - when you join the police you have most the media/govt/public on yah side and so many benefits and you do a mainly interesting job with lots of status - so you cant really complain. I do love cops been str8 acting gay guy ;-)
