I think its safe to say we all love a good dance/buck and shout but we have to keep in mind Saints, your dancing should produce CHANGE. I should be able to dance my way OUT of darkness and into His marvelous light. I should be able to dance until unsaved souls come crying what must I do to be saved. I should be able to dance until all of heaven rejoices with me.. wishing they could praise the way I do. Lord knows I love a dance but I got to dance and NOT continue to be defeated.

Amen ApostlicAtlantaBruh!! I demand to see change in my life and even others after some good foot svc! The Lord inhabits in the praises, and whne he comes he brings eveything you need, if need change, it's in his prescence when ur praise calls to him. It's then up to the individaula to reach out and take the change if they want it. Otherwise they're just gettin' some good "cardio!" But true praisers know they have a right to praise and to see a difference in their lives after the praise.

Just want to say dancing unto God is not what saves us. Praising God is a command because thats what we were created for. God created man because he wanted us to glorify him. Thats why the Bible says let EVERYTHING that has breath praise the Lord. Its the power of the Holy Ghost that will lead us to change. Being saved is great but not enough. I love to dance and praise God because I have a TON to be grateful for but i know full well that, dancing wont keep me but the HOLYGHOST WILL.

Sure, there are a number of scriptures that refer to the necessity of the Holy Spirit but here are just a few. Matt 3:11 speaks of John teaching that he baptize in the water but there will be one mightier than I who will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire, this is the baptism that will us power to live and witness for Christ. Acts 2 talks about the day of Pentecost when the diciples were gathered in the upr rm and once they were with one accord they were filled with the Holy Ghost

Even in the Old T, Joel chapter two around the 28 vs he prohesied a day when God will pour out his Spirit giving individuals the ability to operate in the gifts of God. Also back in the New T (Sorry for jumping arnd =), In Rom 8:10-11 it talks about Jesus depending on the Holy Spirit to get him up out the grave and that It will also quicken our mortal bodies "by his Spirit that dwelleth in you" and then it continues in vs 12-17 that if we morify our flesh through the Spirit we shall live.

Vs 15 in particular says "For we have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cray Abba father. There are so many i could go all night but I have to to work in the morning lol. Basically being saved is just repenting of what you have done wrong and becoming a believer that is the Son of God but after that we have to ask for the Holy Spirit which was promised to us by Jesus in John 14:16 this is what will keep us Saved

We're not able to keep ourselves saved because by nature we are sinful so we need the dwelling of the Holy Spirit to give us power over those things that we would naturually be proned to do (sin). Thank God for grace and mercy because it is a daily fight and sometimes our flesh, if we're not careful, can get the best of us and when it does that when grace comes into play. Now, unless there was a typo during your initial post, I think it would be advantageous to explain how "being saved is not enough". Sure, as i mentioned before being saved is ot enought because the goal of getting saved is to stay saved so you can go back with Jesus and in order to stay changed, saved or however people put you will need the Holy Ghost to keep us, thats what it is for, its a keeper and it gives us power to witness for Christ and live a saved life. So that why i say being saved it not enough, you have to also be filled with his Spirit because if you dont you wont stay saved.

It's not our place to wonder about the "fruit" of the praiser it's God's. Doesn't all of us have a right to praise God regardless of what's going on in our lives..good or bad?

I just think that the mere fact that you are breathing if nothing else gives you a right and a reason to praise God and that should be without another person having to analyze what your praise should mean.
