easily the most shocking ending of any mummy picture and for that matter of almost any other kind of film, for me anyway: never counted on this kind of end
odd name for a woman: ramsay but nifty ramsay ames odd also how this business with her coming from sleep and being aroused by da mommy uhh mummy has mucho affinity to a scene from Horror of Dracula with Melissa Stribling
How come you can get the full Mummy movies at for free at some sites and nobody can post them in segments here...or what...just wont....thanks in advance
I heard Lon choked Frank Reicher for real in this movie and smashed a vase over the director's head LOL..poor Lon was boozing by this time..still a great movie
They are Universal productions. Castle Films was the 16mm/8mm home movie division that had access to the Universal (and in some cases Paramount) film library.
Nice post; Castle did a good job on this one. Happily, there was one more serious movie in the B&W Kharis series, called The Mummy's Curse (released on Dec 22, 1944).
this was always my favorite Mummy movie!

I remember as a kid, 7 or 8 years old watching this movie late at night in the early 1960's. That ending made me have nightmares for a long time!!

You may have been told it before, but The Mummy's Curse is the last of Universal's golden era mummy films.
