Gold Afternoon Fix.was i think some of the churchs poorer work...after starfish.to me they lost the plot.i have grown up on these guys.love them!!check out the early stuff......killer

Insanely underrated band. Listened to "Gold Afternoon Fix" each night to help me sleep freshman year in high school, 1990. Those ringing Rickenbackers of The Church have a very soft and permanent spot in my heart.

Endlessly poignant, magical and magnanimous - it is one for the time capsules.

I just saw them in Atlanta (May 1)....one of the most underrated bands of all times. They were great and also went out of the way to meet their fans. Tim, Marty, and Peter were extremely cool. (Steve was on Skype w/ family and came out after I left)
